She's so cute. Hands down, my favorite celebrity baby, but I wish they'd give the dresses a rest and let her dress like a normal little girl sometimes.

Even while her parents are dresses very casual, Suri has to wear a party dress? I wonder if she ever gets to roll in the grass or dig in the sand like most little kids.

i love that suri's finally growing into her own and i can't wait to see her as she gets older. i'm sure that once katie's done with the show she'll consider having a baby for a sibling for suri since she's such a great mom, but in the meantime we'll happily watch them now.

i'm glad that the bekhams are so supportive - it's a great friendship that they all have.

I like her little dresses... she's like an old school toddler... I used to wear little dresses and cutesy shoes whenever my parents took me out, I'm 26 now by the way.

And anyway, maybe she likes wearing them... She'd be treated like a princess at home, there is little wonder she'd think this is pure normalcy, just like a princess.

Suri is a walking doll. Growing up, as a tot, all I wore was dresses-granted my Mother made them. It was just the thing, everyone did. My sister and I wore matching dresses alot, that would be the cutest if Kate has another child, thougnh maybe she will have a boy. Nowadays everyone is so casual and sloppy. I love seeing little girls dressed up like Suri. I like Toms militant coat and boots.

Dresses are cute, and I have a little girl who loves wearing skirts and dresses. But, judging by the way Tom and Katie are dressed, it'a little bit chillly out there. It's not a weather for a little girl to wear summer party dress only.

it's not that cold in NYC right now for tom and katie to be dressed like that. i was wearing flip flops the other day. they are always dressed like it's winter time. and suri is always dressed like it's summer. a happy medium would be nice. that dress probably cost $1,000.

i don't think i've ever seen her in pants. and she does always have on an outfit that is for a different temperature than what tom or katie have on- its weird. yesterday was chilly in nyc though!

she is just so cute! i can't stand her parents, but there's no denying she's 100% adorable, even when she's not smiling. also, i love the way they dress her, and that smocked dress is really sweet. this is the way my mom was dressed when she was that age in the early 1960s, always in cute dresses and pretty shoes. kids played in the yard or at the park in those outfits back then, it was just normal dress.

millzee - it could have, depending on where they bought it, but there's no good reason for it to be that much. it's just a basic smocked dress. my mom recently bought a couple of them for my 2 yr old cousin at The Bay, which is just an ordinary dept store in Canada, and they only cost $30 each. they were 100% cotton sateen, and the smocking was really well done.

Ya I agree with 2princesses why is Katie and Tom in long sleeves/jackets and pants and Suri's in a dress. That strange. I don't know the weather up there but it has to be a bit chilly.

Wow, it's is colder in our part of the country. No way would I let a child go outside dressed like that!

I wonder if she's ever worn a pair of sneakers, either. I wear dress shoes all day and tights some time, and they ain't comfortable!

Mykie7 - I got it, that was a good one!! I think everyone is too busy worrying why Suri always wears dresses. I have a feeling what Suri wants, Suri gets. Why force her to wear a dress if the kid doesn't want to wear one. Now I would like to see them put a sweater on the child. Life is too short to fight with a 3 year old over a dress - you have to pick your battles.
