There was a minor fuss on the Internet this morning when it seemed that these pictures of Paris Hilton, taken yesterday afternoon, show the celebutante driving once again with a suspended license. It was especially scandalous in light of recent rumors that she may face up to 90 days of jail time (yeah right) for her first probation violation. My Paris fears (ha) were soon abated, however, when her lawyer (does that guy have a special Paris Beeper? He should) came to the rescue to alert the media that the license suspension has been lifted and she was driving legally. Sigh. Of. Relief.
She does, however, still have to show up for her May 4 court date to deal with her prior incident. Something tells me she'll walk away without having to serve any hard time. Dunno, just a hunch.

What is it going to take? Is she going to have to run over a small child before they realize she is an idiot and shouldn't be driving? Of course her lawyer would be all over that explaining that Paris thought the child was a mini paparazzi in training and therefore should have been able to get out of the way faster. and the world will say wow isn't she great it must have been the childs fault.. perhaps she will name her new perfume after the deceased.

32My only issue with her suspension being lifted is that she can actually afford to hire a person to drive her around for the next 36 or so months. There are REAL people who have their licence suspended for such offensive that actually lose their viability because the loss of that license could equal no way to work, no way to get your kids to daycare. I'm so over "richebrity" perks!!!
