thrilled for brit's "success"? what is she talking about?

the only reason she's thrilled 4 brit is prob. bcause she no longer sees her as a threat in the industry cause brit is poppin out babies one after another w/ federslime&has no time for a singing carrer

Is it just me? I don't like the 40's sailors outfits...I know her album is inspired by that era but..its fug. The girl can sing, no doubt but her choices of music selections seem to be lacking, I don't like her current song, to much of a cabaret feel.

Christina's laughing her ass off at Brit. I'm sure she wakes up every morning wishing she couldn't sing worth a damn, was married to a free-loading loser and popping out his offspring left and right, and watching her career slowly fade away along with her hard earned cash. Oh yea, Christina's totally thrilled for Brit's "success".

Maybe she means her success overall through the years...a refreshing change to hear about celebs playing nice instead of acting like jealous b*tches.

Babycakes is right, Britney is not even viable anymore in the music world. She's only known for being married to K-Fug and popping out kids every few months now. There's no reason for Christina to be jealous anymore. Christina's album is probably number one and she's on top of the music game right now so she won't be holding any grudges.

What was the competition? Everybody has always preferred Brit. And Christina has always had all the talent. It's like comparing cheetos and escargot - sure escargot is all gourmet and high quality but we all like cheetos, right?

Besides, if Brit starts climbing the charts again, Christina's claws will come back out.

Well Jen, Christina is safe. Besides the only reason Brit was ever popular was because of the good economy time and poptart years of the late nineties and early millenium. We live in a different and hip hop controlled world now.

Chistina always seems obsessed with Brit. She mentions her in EVERY interview. My goodness when is the last time Brit even made a song! Chistina is VERY jealous of Brit. I think Christina is the one with the talent but she's always got something to say in regards to Brit.

touche', hotstuff. you hit the nail on the head. except the talent part. i think they each are talented in their own way. but singing talent goes to xtina. when brit was in her prime she really could perform her ass off. i hope she can get back to that.

That's really sad that at what, 23 or 24, Brit is considered past her prime.

christina does seem to have some esteem issues. i think she acts that way (over confident) because of her daddy and all the mean sh*tty girls who gave her hell when she was growing up. but to their defense who wants to hear about this singing phenom every day at school. kids can be cruel though.

I dunno, Audrey. I've seen her complain about that in interviews before. Always with the "all the girls were so mean to me because they were so jealous of me" but my impression is always, maybe they were mean to you because you're a conceited, self-absorbed little twit?

I never buy the so jealous of me crap. There are gorgeous, talented girls that everybody loves.

oh, don't get me wrong jenn..everybody knows i can't stand xtina. she drives me crazy. the point is the kids were probably really mean to her but who doesn't go through that at some age. and again, she was such a little f*ckin show off who could blame them really.

Christina is not stupid - she knows that Britney isn't a rival because she can't sing and her career is basically over since she's made such poor choices in her personal life. She probably feels sorry for her. I'm not a fan of Christina but she at least has legitimate talent.

I was reading about some comments JT made about Brit that were less than flattering. Apparently, she thinks JT said those comments because he is JEALOUS that she is married and has a family. I probably laughed for like 5 mins after I read that! I don't think there is anyone out there who would be jealous of Brit. Three years ago....hell, yeah. Now? Not a chance.

Ha ha ha, yes JT totally wishes he had his own laughingstock loser bleeding him dry. I guess she couldn't really say "oh he's just still mad that I boinked our choreographer".

I do think Xtina has a lot of jealousy toward Britney, though. Even still. Because while everyone has always acknowledged her talent, nobody really seems to like *her*. Whereas Britney had the whole America's Sweetheart thing going on. Whether she still does or not, its gotta bug Xtina.

i just bought christina's new album and i have to say...i love it...her sound is so new and different and the artwork was so beautiul...shes amazing

I know Christina has the "better voice" but all that vocal acrobatic's just leaves me cold...just sing the song already, it takes nearly 2 mins for her to get out 1 note.

That is why I prefer Britney's singing simple, effortless and easy to sing along to.

It's her best look in a long while. Very OTT and I don't think there's many who can rock being Platinum Blond.
