Adam Brody continued to master the fine art of looking adorably disheveled in NYC as he hopped in a taxi. We're loving the Adam overload that's been coming our way thanks to his new movie, but apparently not everyone is on the Brody bandwagon. In the Land of Women tanked at the box office while Disturbia took #1 for the second weekend in a row. We had a feeling Shia was going to be a star, but hopefully this won't be a sign of things to come for Adam - we'd hate to see him disappear into the background like so many other TV stars.

I saw disturbia! it was so good!
1I don't think he will play the lead for a long while now. Poor him! It will take a long time for any studio to trust his selling ability again.

In The Land Of Woman caters to women - girls.

3the break up was meant to be for women and it was number one illogicaldee.
4Prior to the break up, everything else Aniston had done didn't really make that much money. I guess the girl can still opens a movie. Only about 10-20 hollywood stars can do that. Film business is all about money. If you can raise the box office you will get sent many scripts. If you can't make that much money for the studios, you have to struggle to get a part. Money makes everything go round in that industry.

21I think the break-up was such a popular movie because Vince Vaughn is such a man's man, and Adam Brody certainly IS NOT.

Adam Brody is so adorably cute. i love the hair. the "i just got outta bed with me" look. ha ha not too thrilled about his movie though.
23Come on, surely no one really thought AB could pull off a movie completely by himself. Teen girls might see him, but he needed much more of an audience to beat out Disturbia. Plus, Shia L. is a much better actor. No contest. Sorry, AB fans -- not trying to be demeaning. In fact, one of my closest friends lurvs AB.
24I adore Adam Brody, but even he wasn't enough to tempt me to see a formulaic chick-flick starring Meg Ryan's fish face. Shia La Boeuf, on the other hand, is my new favorite dream boat, and Disturbia was surprisingly good.

I always thought it was a bad name for a movie title. I really believe that the title can sort of sell a movie.

36I saw In the Land of Women last night and LOVED IT!!!!!! If you haven't seen it...do yourself a favour and support hotness Adam Brody. It's like an OD for any Seth fan!
37I don't think it's Adam's fault. I don't remember seeing a single commercial for this movie. It's like the studio put zero effort into promoting it. No wonder it tanked.
38"In the Land of Women" was horrendous. I was too intrigued by Meg Ryan's face of the moment to pay it much more attention. "Disturbia", on the other hand, was well crafted, well done, and reminsicent of "Rear Window".

43honestly, adam brody is boring. he can only play one character, his seth character. no matter what movie or what show he's in, his character is always goofy and similar. even in mr. & mrs. smith, or even one episode in smallville, his character doesn't change. he definitely needs more acting classes. other than that, i'm not even going to bother with any of his movies. i don't even know why they still keep on giving him movies.

45In the Land of Women was really good. Then again, I am a total sucker for Adam and could literally watch him for hours. I've been re-watching The OC seasons 1 and 2 and now I'm on the 3rd. I miss it.

49I haven't seen either of them because they're not overseas just yet but I am looking forward to both of them. I've heard both good and bad things but I will also say that I do miss the OC as well. I just got done re-watching the third season and pre-ordered the 4th season. DON"T tell me about it though, I haven't seen it yet!!!
