Last night, some of our favorite rising stars were honored at the Young Hollywood Awards. Dakota Fanning, Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff were just a few of the lovely young ladies who got all dolled up for the red carpet. The celebs were excited to win their awards, but made it clear that they're only planning on going on to bigger and better things as they grow older. Here's more:
"I'm up for whatever other challenges come my way in the future — in fact, I look forward to it," said actor/rapper Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, 29, at the El Rey Theater.
Actress Dakota Fanning, 13, lauded as Hottest Coolest Young Veteran, said, "I get the 'young' part, but I don't feel like a veteran yet. I'm just excited to go to work tomorrow."
Singer/actress Hilary Duff, 19, a presenter, said, "I've been working so hard promoting my record (Dignity), I'm just so excited that it's out there. I had a few days off for Easter, now I'm ready to go on tour."
It's been a while since we've seen Amanda and while she's looking cute, we think she dressed a little too young for the now 21 year old. Katherine Heigl's dress is too bright but it's the other Katharine who looks way too done up. Kristin Cavallari is perfectly dressed.... for Vegas. How does she land herself such cute men? Stephen, Brody and now Nick. It's clearly her best accomplishment.

This is gonna come out mean, but, I think Dakota is ugly. She may grow out of it, and surely part of it is that young awkwardness we all face in life, but, she is hard to look at IMHO.

5I def. don't think Amanda looks too young for her age. I mean there are girls/women twice her age or older then her and they dress a lot more age inappropriate (Paris/Britney). I just love her.

Yeah, Kristen's hair looks straight up like a wig. A nasty wig at that. Her date is hot, but how hot can he be if he's with her?? Jewel should pull the top of her dress tighter, she doesn't have her boobies hiked up enough (sarcasm). And Amanda needs to lose the hair color, me no likey.

I loved that SNL where Amy Pohler was playing Dakota Fanning and she was mocking her band leader for being dumb, and he was getting so mad!
Amanda looks good lately, but she looks really thin.

Okay Kristin has always been pretty to me but I feel like I need a magnifying glass to see her legs. I like Amanda Bynes dress and tactually think Hillary's brown locks are growing on me.
