6Since this whole "Disturbia" and "This is Shia's year!!" came about, I've been dying to ask- Has anyone seen Shia in interviews? When he isn't performing (Movies, TV, SNL) he is the cockiest, smug, self-absorbed SOB! Maybe it's because he's young, but I have changed the channel on him during Late Night, because I cannot stand his attitude. This will always affect how I feel about him, and I won't be seeing this movie anytime soon. Wouldn't want to be part of inflating his ego anymore this year...

10I'm watching interviews with Shia right now and he doesn't seem like a jerk in the least. He seems very mature and serious about his films out now and the one's to come. If you've seen other interviews that I haven't where he is being cocky and smug, please share!

12t-hive, I remember one on late night, either jay or conan. He couldn't stop talking about how well he acted, who complemented him on acting, who he is working with (throwing in big names) and such. Yeah, he comes off as very mature and put-together, but I feel like that is part of his ego. He doesn't let his guard down- he is always attempting to impress. Which may be why he is a good actor, who knows?
13I don't think SHia is cocky i think it's apart of his sense of humor. I could be wrong.
14I definitely feel Halle is overrated. I was watching Sworefish over the weekend and she just doesn't bring anything to the plate in her movies. Except for Losing Isiah. That was a good movie. And she's not that gorgeous as everyone makes it out to seem. She's pretty plane to me.

15Shia was that sidekick kid I eternally wanted to strangle until he got killed off in Constantine and didn't screw up his death scene. I then realised he could actually act some, and haven't really been able to drum up any dislike for him since.
I'm kind of glad he getting a measure of success. I just hope he keeps up the good work and doesn't turn into an ego-and-coke-bloated idiot, like a lot of sometime up-and-comers.
I'd say the same for Joseph Gordon-Levitt, too.
