Leonardo DiCaprio looked suave posing with his costar Russell Crowe at the Body of Lies premiere in NYC last night. With all the talk about Russell's weight gain for the role, he looked like he has slimmed down some though I'm not sure what to say about the ponytail. While the boys' political thriller hits theaters this Friday, Leo's been keeping politically active in his real life unveiling his star studded voting PSA with a surprise visit to Ellen on Friday. He said, "This is really one of the most important elections of our life time and we really need to tell everyone we know to get out there and vote." Seems like good timing for Leo that he gets to come out and promote his new movie while also getting to promote his passion projects.

2i don't know if i'm going to go out of my way to see this movie - but i guess it's looking to be ok. i keep seeing the trailer every time i go to another movie. i just feel like leo is always in the same type of movies.

leo has certainly grown into his role as leading. russell is a much better actor but leo's been pleasantly surprising me lately...

13I like the premise until I hear the Aussie accent of Crowe again and Leo looks like a little boy with his little boy voice so all the CIA arc goes out of the window. Add the fake choppers because Im sure Ridley Scott is nothing without his special friend who has Pentagon access like Jerry Bruckheimer. That's how authentic Black Hawk Down movie was because of JB and the Pentagon granted them use of the Black Hawks.

16So I wasn't seeing things when I saw Russell Crowe on Letterman a few nights' ago sans ponytail - Long, flowing hair! What role is it for?
Lastly, I'd like to ask something that has me puzzled... Are people becoming so jaded & superficial that "looks good/great" is the ONLY asset to value in someone - be they a celebrity or ordinary person? There is such a thing as personality. Some people can be quite good-looking & have hearts of stone, while so-called "fugly" people can be the kindest, loyalest and generous people ever put on this planet.
For all the oohing & aahing that goes on over any celebrity they'd better be gorgeous & stay that way or they're nothing. Well, there's a saying from the past that seems to have come true - "Male serial killers are the best looking guys around." Think: Ted Bundy, the Menendez brothers, the "Night Stalker", Ricard Ramirez, etc. - All of whom gathered a legion of female groupies panting after them with NO regard for what they did as soon as their faces were shown on court TV.
HELL, these "fans" were willing to die, steal, kill & marry these... men BECAUSE of their looks??!!! I tell you, if that's the case... give me "ugly" people any day.
Just get over it; nobody's perfect.
