Mandy Moore is looking adorably innocent as ever in this weekend's Parade Magazine. In the interview she promotes her new album Wild Hope out June 19th. She discusses how uninterested she is in putting her life out there like the rest of the tabloid pop tarts. Mandy praises her parents for raising her right and the way she carries herself - we couldn't agree more. She also talks about the perks of being a celebrity, and not having very many friends. Here are highlights:
- On her favorite celebrity perk:
“This is so awful,” she groans. “So terrible,” she says. “But I love roller-coasters and I’m able to cut to the head of the line. It’s horrible of me. People have been waiting in line for an hour, and you put your head down and scoot ahead of them, then sit down real quick! I guess it’s still the kid in me.” - On her friends:
“I don’t really have a ton of friends,” Moore says. “My best friends, my close circle, are mostly in New York, but my brothers live with me here in L.A.—one is younger, one older—and I hang out with them a lot. But I actually like spending time by myself, and it’s not super-odd for me to go [a lot of places] by myself.”
Obviously her laid back lifestyle is working wonders for her image and her career. As for cutting in line at amusement parks, we totally don't blame her. We'd be at Disneyland all the time too if we had those kind of perks!

Most evident is the fact that these photos are HEAVILY photoshopped. We just saw pics of her the other day on the street and her milky cankles were just gross. Her thighs and lower legs are woefully out of shape and way more blobby white than these pics pretend. I'm sure she WISHES she looked like these pictures!!!
28"Woefully out of shape" is such an exaggeration. Remember, we all saw those pictures too! She is a normal and healthy weight. She might not be super toned or "skinny", but I don't think most people care.
29I agree with everyone else out there--she seems like she has it all together. She's got her personal life and her public life, which is not always the case with some celebrities. I don't think she is nearly as popular as Britney Spears, which may not be a bad thing. I sometimes think that because she likes to have her life private, she comes off as a bit snooty sometimes.
30She looks pregnant in the first picture but she's so down to earth, I like her. I don't like that color of yellow, it's mustard? I think that's why it's throwing the dress style off.

39Despite all her smiles, I get the feeling like this girl is very unhappy deep down. Don't know why, maybe its her perpetual stone face in any picture that's not posed or with her current bf.

47don't know much about her , haven't seen a movie with her and her past albums I didn't really like but she seems so nice and grounded, and I don't find her fat at all. Just because she's not skin and bones like more than half of the other celebrities her age doesn't mean she's fat....means she has something else more than the other ones have and that is brain
