Lindsay has a lot to say in the May issue of Nylon magazine and while much of it isn't very clear, it's quite entertaining as usual. In the article she apparently talks a mile a minute and things fly out of her mouth before she can think to stop them. Here are highlights:
- On why she continues to go out:
“This is why it’s such a big deal, and why I get so worried... I’m at the point where...oh my God...I’m going to go out! I work hard enough and I know how to take care of myself. I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. I will say, though, that it’s so much harder to stay sober in New York. Though it’s hard in L.A. not to go out, it gets lonely. Being an actress is lonely, and I never want to be alone. I hate sleeping alone.” - On Wonderland:
"I just think that the people [at Wonderland] weren't used to me. They've had other celebrities there, just never as hardcore as me....The people there didn't get why when we would go to meetings, instead of being in the back of the car I would be like 'I think I should drive, because they are going to chase you and it's going to be scary and we might get in an accident and we don't need that.'" - On the paparazzi:
"I get embarrassed about the paparazzi if I'm in a chic restaurant, or when I was in the AA meetings. I felt very disrespectful because those people are doing that for themselves and it's no one elses' business. But that was the only time it was embarrassing--other times, I obviously like it I wouldn't ever want them to not take my picture. I'd be worried. I'd be like, 'Do people not care about me?'"

1As expected, she likes the paps, and she's self-absorbed. If she feels bad about attracting paps to AA please don't go (those people actually want help but she's made it clear she doesn't). The Wonderland comment makes me choke. A lot of celebs who were there prior to Lindsay were A list. Lindsay honey your movies stink, you may have worked with Streep and Hopkins but so as many other actresses (you also only had a minor role in all these movies which didn't make much money). When you have worked with De Niro, Eastwood, Coppola, Spielberg or Ang Lee back to back then you are something special. For the moment you can't sing, your acting is very medicore, most people don't want to work with you cause of your reputation. GROW UP LINDSAY. Most people actually feel sorry for you. They aren't your fans, they feel sorry for you and your mum (she needs to learn how to handle fame with more dignity also).

Okay, so the last couple of comments are pretty self-absorbed and I think she tends to think of herself as a bigger deal than she is= she is famous for her going out and getting attention from the paps- not for her acting. BUT, I am glad she seems so candid in this, I have to give her props for that, as well as for mentioning how disrespectful it is for others at Wonderland with her to have been hounded by paps when she was around, she seemed a BIT humble about it....

I have a question why do celebrities even bother hiring publicists anymore?? They wonder what causes the frenzy well they do, and how can LL's Mom say things like Oh it is so dangerous LL getting chased by Paparazzi when she just admitted that she loves to have her picture taken essentially.
