Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival opened last night in an unconventional way. Al Gore hosted the event, which began with 9 short films about the environment in lieu of a full-length, big name movie like Spiderman-3 (which will premiere later on at Tribeca). The films are produced by SOS (Save Our Selves), which works towards raising awareness about global warming and climate change.
It's awesome that giving back and environmental awareness is becoming the hot new celebrity trend these days. Hopefully Hollywood can continue to use its fame to influence America to start getting serious about saving our planet.

You mean the 3-4 billion dollars of Plan Columbia (to help mainly protect the pipelines of his sugardaddies at Occidental Petroleum) which has helped poison people and land is a positive sign?
Why not? We have Wolfowitz, the architect of plan Iraq, who is the head of the IMF and who Bono tells us is really interested in helping the poor. If people will swallow that crap, why not Gore then?
Sure, he was responsible for dumping tons of DU ammunition in the balkans but hell, that was before he was environment friendly.
You know, when he supported Bin Laden and his muhajeddins in Bosnia and then bombed a country in support of what the CIA called 'the largest and best trained terrorist groupe in teh world'.
So it came back to bite us a few years later when his friends turned on us on 9/11. Its only a couple of dozen mistakes.

23Adrian is clearly one the most beautiful guy in Hollywood at the moment. Everything about him is hot, sexy quiet voice, amazing eyes, beautiful head of hair, great long slender body, need I go on? Oh, and great actor, though he is still yet an unsung hero, based on his past and recent movies/short films, he is a gem waiting to sparkle.
