I wish they clarify how you 'accidently leave' without paying. I mean, I believe it's possible, but were they arguing about how got to pay or did they think they'd get it free for being famous? I want details!

I don't think that they would do it purposely (not paying the bill) - she does not make the impression of being someone who would want the attention for something like that... or maybe hungry for publicity?? hmm...

But does anyone think it's a bit odd that she had to film and get publicity for doing the right thing? Yesterday I read that she'd gone back to the restaurant and paid and I thought that was so cool. Now that I see a camera and a photo op and the extra pr, it just makes me think it was a way to save public face.

Its easy to see how she could have left without paying...maybe she assumed that he was getting ready to leave that he had decided to pay in the end...with the fighting, it may have been confusing.
I was eating with my boyfriend, and he went to the bathroom, and when he got back, i said, "got the check?"... for some reason, he thought i said "i got the check", and we both left. then in the car we realized our mistake. Boy did we feel like idiots. We went back and left a huge tip. It can happen.
She probably knew that the media would get wind, so wanted to make sure that they got the correct information (that she did go back). That story could have been twisted very easily had they not seen her go back.

She always brings conversation back to talking about herself, and once you notice that trend, it is just so obvious. The house decorated in "Tyra" for Top Model was a bit nauseating.

I love that she went, and that the papparazzi were there to document it--otherwise it would have been reported as "Tyra sneaks back to pay bill." She admitted fault and went back HERSELF to take care of it, rather than sending an assistant or friend to do the dirty work. I like that.

I HIGHLY doubt she did this for PR. She left right after the View (I believe thats what I read) so the paps probably just followed her from their, or waited at the restraunt for her.

i like tyra she seems like such a friendly person and somebody who admits to her flaws and mistakes. Unlike Paris who seems to act like she thinks shes better than everybody, but maybe paris is friendly too? i dunno, whatever

I think its stupid when people say that they think she's fat i mean first of all she was a supermodel, emphasis on super lol and she's pretty damn tall lol so she has a different uh BMI or whatever u call that. and she's now a talk show host, i don't think its hypocritical for her to tell people on top model to lose a lil weight or something and she hardly says that, but she's preparing them for the real fashion industry and i think she sincerely cares about all those hopefuls who hope to make it big (but which of the top model winners have really made it big?..Naima? Caridee?) and she's lived that life she knows what its like to be scrutinized for a like a couple of pounds so yea and on her show which i used to watch (but not anymore cuz the network isnt airing it anymore) she promotes healthy eating, exercising, and all that stuff. I remember one show where she showed how lil girls as young as 5 or 6 think they're fat when they're clearly not. and tyra said would u rather be skinny or smart and all the girls said they'd rather be skinny!

This has accident written all over it, however, when you go somewhere to eat out how can you forget to pay? It's a catch 22 to me but I don't see her as someone who would do that on purpose. Yeah, I know I just countered what I said.

I always find it hard to believe when people leave without paying. But I think for celebrities who have so much stuff for free or have an assistant taking care of things that they don't live in the same world as regular folks. That said, I agree with everyone that Tyra isn't the type of person who would do that on purpose. I've become quite a fan of her from ANTM and her talk show. It take big balls for her to go in person to take care of it when she could have sent someone over to quietly pay the bill. Way to go Tyra!
