Jennifer showed young Hollywood how it was done at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood 2007 bash last night. While the rest of the starlets donned dresses J Lo made a splash in a white Ralph Lauren suit. It's no surprise then that she was honored as US Weekly's Style Icon of the Year, an honor she was also awarded by Harper's Bazaar this year. While we don't always agree with her choices, she's definitely not afraid to take risks. Marc Anthony jokingly said, however, that she mostly has him to thank for her fashion decisions. Here are highlights:
"I pick out all her dresses, for the most part...I'm the Simon Cowell of my household — really honest."
But Anthony credits his wife for sparking his keen fashion sense, saying, "She developed my eye for it. I didn't realize I was so good at it, but she could have 20 designers and five girlfriends in a room, and she'll still say, 'Let's ask Marc.'"
Marc has another important duty as well. "I'm her purse...At these things, that's my purpose and you've got to know what your purpose is." Concealed inside Anthony's black suit, he said, were Lopez's eye shadow, lipstick and various other beauty items.
"Sometimes my purse doesn't fit stuff and he has to carry things," acknowledged Lopez.
While Jennifer was definitely a focal point of the night, she shared the spotlight with tons of other stars like LL who came in some enormous curls and picked up an award for Red Carpet Style. What do you think of the ladies red carpet style? Brody Jenner also was on hand and was supposed to be bringing the winner of US Weekly's Win a Date with Brody Jenner contest. But where is she? Let's hope he didn't ditch her at the party!

1The Stars???? I think JLo, LL and the guy from Gray's Anatomy are the only real actors there. Everyone else is just there past their 15 minutes.

27I agree. I'm not sure how people can make fun of her for that. I really do feel bad for her, no shes not perfect and has made MANY MANY mistakes, but shes grown up a very different life then us. None of us can say for sure how we would act if this was our life. Make fun of her for things that she does, but making fun of her for having big feet, a weird eye, and nose is just downright mean. No wonder why the society is the way that it is. You don't want to act like her or have your kids look up to her, but what kind of an example are you guys setting for your children or peers by acting like a highschooler and calling a girl that you don't even know nasty names and making fun of her for things that she can't help. No wonder why the girl has problems.

45God, I HATE when LL makes that stupid blowing a kiss pose. I HATE IT!!!!! She looks so dumb when she does that. I wish they wouldn't have given her an award. Ali Larter should have gotten that, LL's style sucks. You can tell I just love her so much huh?

Wait, these celebrities show up for a magazine that's basically a tabloid? They must be showing their love because they give them attention 24/7.
49yeah i never noticed that but you bring up a good point they complain about how tabloids are people who ruin their lives and stalk them for pics and how much they "hate" it but look at them, they show up at the parties, support the magazine, get paid to show up and etc. they need the tabloids don't they?
anyway i think carmen is gorgeous and while i think brody jenner is a loser, you can't help but love a guy who's got a dog and treats em right lol. CUTE (the dog i mean, not him lol)
