Eva Longoria sparkled on the red carpet at last night's Padres Contra El Cancer's 8th Annual "El Sueno De Esperanza" benefit gala in LA. With children and Eva there, naturally talk turned to babies. After responding "nope" when asked about plans to have kids soon, she said, "People always say 'I want a boy! I want a girl!' I just think, Oh my gosh, I just want a healthy child. . . That's truly a gift. If you're a healthy adult, to complain about anything in life that's so minute, you really have to be grateful for everything that you have and do something with it." Just another sound bite to add to her library of baby answers, which happens to be the same thing she said at the event last year — I'd feel bad for her if she didn't seem like she's eating up the attention.

1You can actually see the weight gain here, not that it's unattractive on her body, but her face is definitely filling out not so prettily.
2Yeah, I have to agree that the weight gain is not so pretty on her. She seems to be holding a lot of it in her cheeks and middle.
