Once again Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck made picking up Violet from preschool a family activity yesterday afternoon. The pigtailed sweetheart seems to have lost her shoes somewhere along the way, but she's got her parents there to keep those sensitive feet off the ground. Violet also showed off an adorable hoodie while her dad Ben wore one of his two old reliable t-shirts. He may think it deters people from taking photos of them, but with a family this sweet it's hard to resist their appeal.

12I've never been pregnant before and I'm not a doctor but isn't it the case that pregnant women are not suppose to lift heavy objects? Violet looks quite grown up... why don't they let her walk and exercise her little legs? and if they want to carry her because of the paparazzi (which I would understand), why doesn't Ben carry her? Poor Jennifer has that huge belly, her purse, Violet and Violet's backpack and Ben has... nothing.

19I don't think carrying Violet is a very big deal for Jen - she does it a lot when Ben isn't around. I think many times he walks ahead and looks grumpy to get the paps out of the way. And they really dont' seem to like the attention. When Violet is not around, they dont' look very pleased to getting their pictures taken, god knows they dont' dress up. The only time Jen looks pleasant is when Violet is with her and I think that is so Violet doesn't think mom is mad at her.

i can't believe how big violet is getting that she's already in school but i guess time does fly huh? it still kind of bothers me that everyone's getting photographed while they are getting their kids from school. there should be some type of distance that they have to allow for and the fact that the kids can't even go to school w/o getting hounded is a bit intrusive to me.
21You can carry "heavy objects" while pregnant as long as you have no complications. And since Violet can support a lot of her own weight, she's likely not dangerous to pick up.
And yes, I've seen her walk. But going through a crowd of onlookers and pushy photographers, I'd carry my kids too.
22I wonder if Jen just loves carrying Violet or Ben never offers to carry her. It would be much lighter for Ben to carry her.
23I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought it was odd that a pregnant Jen is holding Violet while Ben is empty handed.
24I just think that Ben should carry Violet. I mean, he's already there, why can't he do it? It seems like everytime he's there, its just a photo op to show "Look our marriage is going well!"

I could lift my older son (who was 2 1/2 when my second was born) the whole time I was pregnant the second time around.

I have a 3 year old and am 15 weeks pregnant. I carry my daughter regularly if she needs it (and usually it's me and not my husband as she only wants me). The reason we always see her being carried is maybe because all the photographers freak her out or maybe her parents are just very protective of her when photographers are around. I wish people would give her a break - there life is hardly noemal if they're being photographed all the time.
28Violet is so cute...but I thought I was the only one wondering why the hell is she always cayying her? I have never seen her walk....
29I wonder how she will handle this after baby number 2 is born. Will she carry them at same time? Poor her! I mean there's nothing wrong with it, I have twin kids and I awlways carry them at same time, I love it altohough my back was never the same since they were born (lol)... In Jen's case, I'm quite sure she fears that some crazy paparazzi might try to approach of her daughter, and that would certainly, make her crazy. It's not her fault then...she carries her baby to proctect her, simple as that...everyone who's a parent, would do the same!
30have you morons ever thought maybe jen wants to carry her daughter? she's probably wants as much time with her as possible since when the new baby comes it will get lots of her attention. And i love stars carrying their kids, it makes think they are close most kids don't want to be picked up at that age at all. and they hold them so that the paps won't surround the kid or knock them over.
