Okay everyone, got some news for you regarding the whole 'free range' chicken label. This weekend I was talking to my aunt about my new healthful lifestyle, and we got on the subject of chickens. Turns out one of her superiors owns a chicken farm, and her chickens are 'free range'. this means they have an area to run around...but like the Horizon cows, they are rarely allowed to, and even if they were, the area between the fence and henhouse is so small, there isn't room for them too, but single file. My opinion of free range is now changed, and I know longer think it is as big a deal. :mob:
