Can't stand her or her music, and I watched Dreamgirls this weekend for the first time and if it's possible, it made me like her even less.

I like how it actually tells a story unlike some of the videos you see where the video has nothing to do with the song and its lyrics.

Um, Ciera already did this basically. Her song is "Like a Boy" but it's the same thing. Watch the videos...very similar. Be more original Beyonce!

I thought the song and the video were sort of boring, and the message is awful. Since when are guys the only ones who do this sort of thing? I hate spreading the idea that men are all dogs... it totally disrespects the good guys out there, and it implies that women are never at fault.

I agree HLHArts, I don't like the double standards that get implied. Especially since girls cheat just as much as boys, and girls play just as many games too.

But you cannot say all girls, or all boys becuase there are very decent people out there who are good partners.

B's video is nothing like Ciara's , true they are both in black and white but that's about. Ciara's was all about dancing because she can't sing.

All Beyonce hating prejudice aside, I really liked this song and video.

PS I don't think this video implies all men are like that...in fact she never uses the word MAN she uses BOY and I don't think thats a coincidence.

I don't think she's reinforcing gender stereotypes when it comes the being a cop. At the end of the video his partner is a woman cop. I liked it a lot. Of course both men and women can be culpable of this kind of behavior, but it's still cool to put it out there.

I think it's trying to bring attention to double standards between men and women. Both genders do hurtful things in relationships but in today's society I do think it's guys who tend to get away with more. E.g. women are more likely to stick with a cheater.

I like the song, and I like the video. I'm not a huge Beyonce fan, but I was a Destiny's Child fan in my teens, and I think her voice is beautiful...

I don't want to spark any Beyonce vs Britney stuff, but Beyonce's grown up, and I love all she says about not endlessly trying to be "the hottest chick in the club" and some sexy young girl.
Men are stupid most of the time. Trust me, I know! I'm glad such a mature voice is coming from our girl.
Britney might want to stop trying to be sexy again to "prove" that she's back on top of her game, and instead just try to be a sane human again, making real music.

@ lindsaybriggs, I actually love Beyonce, but I agree with you that Ciara did excatly the same song and pretty much the same concept. It was also in Black and White! Seriously, i expected more from beyonce. I guess her's could be considered more arty though, since it has "plot" and all...
