Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel went to the Last Chance for Change Rally in Las Vegas on Saturday. Amidst all of the engagement rumors the two rallied for Obama, but rather than performing, they just spoke freely for 30 minutes. Justin started, "I'm not here as some dude who writes goofy songs. Me and Jess, we're here as Americans. We're here as humans because this is something we had to do. We've never publicly endorsed before. But we've never been so inspired by one person." JT and Jess bantered about the issues, saying:
Jess on a woman's right to choose: "Nobody should be able to say what you can do with your body."
Justin: "I give Jess the right to choose where we go to eat all the time. The funny thing is, what the woman chooses is usually right."
Jess: "Brownie points for you."
Justin: "I know where my bread is buttered."
Standing up for what they believe in finally brought these two out to stand on stage as a couple. Whatever their future holds, it sounds like they're ready to work together when it comes to their causes.

Justin: "I know where my bread is buttered."
GAG.
1LOL @ my bread is buttered
like the scarf jt
2And who says these two don't know how to have fun together? Why they're practically a double act!
3I let her choose where to eat... boom boom!
Take my girlfriend. Please!
4Justin looks so dorky.
5Well he has admitted to being a nerd.
I have no been so "un-attracted" to a man before... JT is nerdy, goofy and void of any sex appeal. It just boggles my mind how so many women swoon over this guy. ewwww
6They are just too cute. hahah
7idk Jax, I think goofy and dorky guys are the best
8I wonder if anyone would ever find Justin cute if he wasn't "Justin Timberlake"? Here is a skinny kid from a small town in Mississippi. I know I wouldn't have given him a second look. Isn't it amazing what Hollywood can do to a guy.
9Idiotic argument.
Next.
10Well, I am in love with a guy who claims to be a nerd but I find him to be the hottest thing eva!! He is well educated.
11Gah, they suck! Is Justin really comparing a woman's right to kill her child to what restaurant they are going to eat at? Two shallow, self centered individuals!
12Never liked them...never will.
Funny how some criticize the war for killing people but nobody says anything about killing babies.
13"Nobody should be able to say what you can do with your body." Or with another innocent person's body for that matter...
14Pair of airheads.
Jessica looks very natural and beautiful.
15Pahlease let 'em have a baby, get married and disappear... so they don't embarrass themselves further...

Thank you, Mabye63, for telling the straight up truth about Justin Timberfake. He's legitimately talented but his fame is totally unwarranted. Meanwhile, Jessica does look very pretty in a lot of these pictures.
17Be pro-life or choice all you want, but the truth of the whole thing remains, our government should have no say
18The government has a say in almost everything we can do. We can't smoke a natural weed, we can't go over the speed limit, we can't kill a pregnant woman without being charged with a double murder, but when it comes to a woman blendering a baby in her tummy, the government has no say? WTF!!!
19If you are going to allow one thing, you should all for all things.
i still can't stand these 2 - separately or together. they just rub me the wrong way. i feel like jessica has always thought that she was hotter than she is - and if she had just continued to be the great pretty one like she was on 7th heaven, then i would like her a lot more i think. as for JT - i used to love him, but his head has gotten WAY too big. i think that it's nice that they are talking off the cuff about who they are supporting, but come on - how corny can you get?
the woman usually chooses right and all that? wow!
20Alli- all of the things that you list are either one person killing another person who is pregnant, untaxable goods, or reckless driving so yes, there are laws in place for those.
21What do you call Justin in a voting booth???
22A dick in the box.
Whatever you stand is on the abortion-issue, who would be stupid enough to compare removing a foetus to choosing a place to eat - it really makes me sick! I would have boo'ed if I were in the audience.
I am all for celebrities supporting political causes if it can make more people get out and vote, but some people, like Madonna, Justin and Jessica should just keep their mouth shut.
23Mesayme- did you come up with that by yourself? Good one!!
24
25well, he had help with it in the first place...not an original thought...ya know.
lol Mesayme!
26Gag me.
27abortion is wrong. y doesnt that baby get to choose. and gag me.
28gabiushka thank you
29kiki tee love ur icon lol
30Because the baby is a fetus living parasitically off the mothers body until its born and can't physically speak (or make noise)...thats why it doesn't get a choice.
Pregnancy is a lot more taxing than just being a walking incubator. Don't believe in abortion. Don't have one, I haven't, but don't tell someone else they have to compromise their health, time, energy, emotional well being for something they don't want or can't afford (mentally, physically, or emotionally) to safely have right now.
If you're kicking a heroin habit and don't think you can quit in enough time. PLEASE be selfless and have an abortion. Save the fetus some stress.
Been raped and can't handle the emotional stress. PLEASE do yourself and your baby a favor.
A teenage girl who might get kicked out of her home with no where to go. PLEASE don't feel guilty considering your options.
Shakes head...the ignorance is astounding.
31Quit bullying other women, it their bodies and their decision.
Feel free to shoot me.
I just don't care.
And they were clearly joking. Serious issue it is, but sometimes these things are talked about more easily through humor. You ALL know they weren't making any serious comparisons so don't get your knickers in a twist.
32These two are not my favorites but it normally really annoys me when celebs get involved in politics because I don't really think it is their place because they make soooo much freaking money that what possibly affects them? Taxes won't make or break them. The wall street fiasco...is anyone in Hollyweird even suffering a little because of that? No, so I wish they would be quiet about things that do not affect them. They will always have money, more than you and I ever dreamed of. That said, at least these two were not being rude and condemning the other candidate like Matt Damon and/or Madonna. Seriously, I wish those two would set sail for another country and stay there and I always liked Matt until then
33How are the speaking freely when both had their speeches written out.
34Jessiebanana, I agree with everything you said. About the right to abort and the fact that getting pregnant is more than being a ''walking incubator''. Also I agree with the very obvious fact that the restaurant thing was just a joke.
35I don't really like them (I think they both believe that they are more attractive & talented than they actually are), but they seem really cute at this event. I don't think they were trying to make light of abortion, and trust me I HATE it when people make abortion seem like it is a walk in the park.
36LOL @ Mesayme
37i was excited to read their comments (though i am not a fan of them, only obama) but SOO disappointed to hear that they made light of abortion!! are they trying to sabotage obama?
if you're a public figure endorsing a candidate, maybe prepare something to say beforehand? and when making jokes, i dont think abortion is ever fair game. it just can;t be funny....ever
38I am surprised by the sheer number of celebrities taking an interest in this election. Though what they say may not be the most eloquent, I think their hearts are in the right places.
I think we often over analyze celebrities primarily because children have the tendency to idolize them, but I think we need to give them a little more credit. Acts like this show us that even though they are famous, they are trying to make some difference. Without it being scripted, they sound just like everyone else, which I think might be the angle they wanted to take.
39Jessica just needs to go away. It was suppose to be a event with just Justin and horse face she-male showed up. She loves the attention.
40Jessiebanana makes some very valid points, and while i didn't want to get involved in an abortion debate on a celeb gossip thread I live in a country where abortion is banned outright and I can tell you all that it is not an ideal situation.
We have seen teenage victims of rape have to go to the high court to fight for the right to travel to another country and have an abortion. Thirteen and fourteen year old girls having to go through that ordeal, on top of everything they've already been through, is just wrong and whatever my own personal stance on abortion might be in relation to my life and my body I have no right to deprive a suicidal teenager of that option. Nor does my government.
There are so many circumstances where abortion ceases to be a black and white issue, and every government needs to have legislation in place to deal with those individual situations. Abortion as birth control is wrong, and i would always be in favour of heavily regulating it, but outright bans are wrong too.
41Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the being raped story is kind of an excuse. Rape? Really? I would like to know out of 100 abortions how many of those preganancies happened out of rape? Very few!
42Pitip, I don't recall anyone saying that every aborted pregnancy is the result of rape, but (and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news) you are aware that women do get raped?
You are aware that rape can result in an unwanted pregnancy?
And you think, what, that these women shouldn't be allowed to terminate that pregnancy because there are other irresponsible women who use abortion as their method of birth control?
Your point is not as clear as your callous attitude.
43Whatever... you are too narrowed minded to see my point...
44And maybe the solution for women that do get raped and that are so unlucky to get pregnant would be maybe... the pill???
And kiki please provide the percentage of women that do get pregnant after rape... you dont have it right???
And of course I don't have those statistics, any more that you have any statistical proof that a high percentage of women who have abortions use rape as an excuse.
Do you honestly not accept that SOME WOMEN, AND GIRLS (however small the actual percentage) get pregnant as a result of rape? And I'M narrow minded???
45pitip thank you
i hate that people think that they don't have to deal with the consequences of their actions.
it is not that hard to put on an effin condom
my GOD!
most ppl that have had abortions, did not do so because they were raped. slutty but not raped. in just 9 months the fetus will be a beatiful miracle. and in a few months it will grow fingers and toes. why would anyone not want that?
46and ok if you were raped then ok maybe you have the right to be a murderer. but sluts should not use it as birth control.
47im sorry that i get so mad. i am just so agaisnt abortion. i love babies. they are miracles. and if you get raped and get pregant, as least you will have something good come out of it. it is not the babies fault you got raped. it is still a part of you. yes its a part of the rapist but its also apart of you. its a miracle. be thankful that you got a baby out of it and not a diesease. i dont understand people.
Maybe you were extra lucky and you got an unwanted baby and a disease!
48wow thats harsh
49Sorry, but they are like the ugliest celebrity couple alive....
And who would vote for a guy named Barack HUSSIEN Obama for UNITED STATES president????
50I mean I guess we can then relate to Iraq, because both of our presidents will be named Hussien.
