As expected, stars and celebrity DJs gathered together at Avalon in LA last night to welcome home DJ AM for his first public appearance since his plane crash last month. Mark Ronson, Danny Masterson, and DJ Aoki were just a few who took turns spinning while AM caught up with friends like Hilary Duff and Cisco Adler. Travis Barker sadly couldn't make it to the event since he's still hospitalized, but the proceeds went to the families of the crash victims. We couldn't be happier to see AM healthy and celebrating with his friends while honoring the memory of the other people on the plane. He'll be taking the stage again tonight kicking off Jay-Z's tour.

i'm glad he's ok
wow - i think that it's really something that he's doing so well after the crash, and it's so nice to see that so many people were out to support him. i hope that we get to see more of travis soon too - and that he's able to get home. it has to be a hard thing for the both of them through this recovery process.
