Last night was rocker night and it was pretty clear that this year's AI won't be churning out any awesome-like Daughtrys. We love ourselves a little Bon Jovi so we were psyched to see what was in store for us last night. Little did we know we were still going to be talking about hair now that Sanjaya is gone (thanks to Jordin and Blake).
Phil kicked off the night in what seemed like an okay performance but it was forgotten about by the end of the evening. Jordin killed her chances by screaming Living on a Prayer with the horrible red streaked hair. She should have left that look with Gina who was booted off for a reason. I really liked LaKisha last night and so did Simon based on that big kiss! I thought she rocked the house with Melinda. They both out-shined everyone else but the most talked about performance was beatbox Blake. He updated You Give Love A Bad Name in such a way that I am still confused. Love it or hate it, he will be safe. I predict the bottom three tonight are Phil, Chris and Jordin. Tonight we will lose two contestants. Click here to vote on who you think will be eliminated. 1My fav is Blake. I think Lakeisha & Phil will go home, but you never know...
2I really don't think Lakisha is that great, she did good this week , but I don't think it will be enough to keep her here, her voice is a dime a dozen,, I LOVE blake, and his performance was awesome, he def rocked it last night! I cannot even look at that pic of Jordin, her hair was nasty!
3I think Jordin should go home. But i think they are adding last weeks votes to this week so we will see what happens. I want to say the second person should be Melinda because i just don't like her but she did a really good job last night.
4Jordin isn't going anywhere tonight according to Dial Idol. I would like to see Chris and either Melinda or Lakisha go!

VFTW is backing Phil, I guess, but who knows how much that will affect the results. Chris will go for sure...the other one is a toss up for me.
12I find it odd that people don't like Melinda because she is humble. Isn't that a GOOD quality? I don't like it when people are too smug!
I hope Melinda stays, she never hits a wrong note.
13I just think that Melinda is annoying with the way she acts.. She acts like she does not know that people think she is good, DUH!!! you would not be on american idol if you sucked...
14Phil's creepy bulging eyeballs kill his chances for me, even if I am sometimes impressed by his vocal skills. I always forget about Jordin, so I doubt she'll last long.
15I didn't like Blakes version of "you give love a bad name." It actually really bothered me. I will say his vocals were good but everything else confused me. I think the bottom will be Lakisha, Phil & Jordin. I think Lakisha will go home for sure but for the other I don't know. I DO NOT want Chris to go! i love him

16I aint trying to be mean, BUt how was his performance confusing? Bon Jovi even said there are parts in the song where you dont sing so he did his own thing which was awesome!!!! I like Chris too Justinsbelle!!!

Anyway, we don't get AI until Friday night in the UK, so glad you guys are keeping us up to date! Well, spoiling the ending really!!!
18Melinda is awesome. I love that she is humble. I think she's just honest...last night she was up front about not being comfortable with rock music. And when someone gives her a compliment, she takes it to heart and sincerely appreciates it. I think some people think she acts like she thinks she can't sing. (People who can't sing well DO make it through on American Idol. Sanjaya, Chicken Little from last season, etc.) I think she just graciously accepts compliments.
And I think Jordin takes risks, and last night it just didn't pay off. But she knew it. I think that Lakisha would have been going home last week. She's very hit and miss. She was great in the begining, and then has been off her game for the past 8 weeks. I don't know if last nights performance was enough to undo the damage though.
19I was actually pleasantly surprised how this group handled Bon Jovi. Unfortunately my girl Jordin wasn't on top of her game tonight, but I'm hoping her previous performances can carry her through. As far as who I hope to see go home -- Chris and Lakisha, however at this point I think everyone's doing a pretty awesome job and it's anyone's game.
20I was shocked at how well the overall show was last night. I was a bit skeptical about Bon Jovi night in the beginning but the performances proved me wrong. Melinda as usual was perfection... and regardless of if you liked it or not big credit to Blake for taking the risk and mixing things up!
21blake looks SO good with his hair like that! i've always thought he was cute, but between the dark hair, eyeliner, and beatboxing last night he was HOT!
chris is so adorable but sadly i think he may leave, although i want him to stay... even if it is for my own selfish mancandy reasons.
