I wouldn't make light of the 15 year old girl with a 20 year old boyfriend. She's not that mature and 20 years old is a whole other world. That's why her parents are always hanging around probably.

Look at Britney's whole "I'll be a virgin until I marry" act that she carried on for years after she was apparently hooking up with different guys, even before Justin. She's pretty messed up now and Miley seems like she's fast tracking her way to Britneyville.

Right, it's the whole "the world needs to know about my sex life" and having all that money and power at such a young age that messes these girls around.
There are many bad relationships and there are many good ones, and those with age differences are no exception.
Some people seem to lack the analytical skills to tell the difference, and so an enforced age of consent is easier than putting your neurons to work. I know many people over 18 who I wouldn't trust with a pair of scissors.
I have seen many, many amazing relationships such as hers, and many bad ones between people the same age (and vice versa). This may be America, but as far as I knew, most people I know are open minded and willing to improve their views. Such people usually seem accepting of strong relationships and do not need an arbitrary number to define a functional involvement.
