First of all "ohilovemybabies" you have to want to be with your kids. I don't think she wants to. Second, her infamous crotch shots are forever etched in my mind and I cannot see her without that image in my head, therefore, I can NEVER, EVER, EVER take her seriously again. Not to mention, what ever happened to the sweet Britney who was going to wait for marriage, (twice married now), crotch shots, rehab, foul language, flipping the bird at fans in Mexico, dresses like a drugged out hooker. I have on idea who manages her career but why small performances in the US? why not classy talk shows in london, paris or even in her own country. Why do this now when she isn't ready? Wait until her hair grows back to normal at least.

i can't believe that people actually paid to watch her lip-synch! as far as me paying to see her, no way! if she wants to pay me to watch her perform, sure. i'd be willing to waste my time but to waste my time and money, absolutely no way!

margie-if you take a look at the history of child stars almost all of them are screwed up in some way.Growing up in the spot light,not being able to mess up without the whole world telling you what a sluty white trash person you are would suck.Have you ever done anything you felt embaressed about and the world won't let you forget about it?I think not.It would do alot of longterm damage to feel like you are never forgiven.All this and I'm not even a Britney fan:)

If it's what someone wants to see then by all means. Personally I still have no clue why she's famous in the first place. Madonna can't sing or act, but she's inventive. From all I've ever see of Brit, she's not inventive just lucky.

I would never pay that amount to see Brit Brit. I have done it for one of my favorite bands but the difference is all the money went to charity I supported.

Brit needs a major restart to her singing career if she has any chance of coming back. She need to do a Madonna type album with a super catchy hit single to break through all the gossip hype and stand out as a pop star again. The only way to do that is to surround her with the right producers and songwriters and image consultants.

To add to Edwina's point about Madonna. In the other thread someone compared last night's bad show to Madonna's movie flops, like a bump in the road she could recover from, but the difference is Madonna was trying a whole different area and could still fall back on being whatever it is her fans catagorize her as--singer, dancer, diva...

For Britney, this is all she has ever done in her life, and at the moment she can't do it very well, and she might not be able to, in which case I hope she saved well.

To be honest, I am one of those die hard Britney fans who would pay to see her. Although she does stupid things sometimes (okay, A LOT of the time)I still like her. It's a guilty pleasure!

Considering all that she was doing was dancing, I am so shocked at what poor quality it was. I was expecting more, but it was really, really boring.

Madonna was SUCH a better performer.

I would pay over 125 to see her.

The fact that she thought she looked good here, thought she was ready to go back on stage, fired the manager who took her to the top, etc. still makes me think that the girl is not mentally well. She's probably going to crash big time.

ilove2ski, are you really impressed by her performance or is it just a nostalgia thing? (Not trying to be mean, just trying to understand such a different perspective from mine). I just think that Shakira, Beyonce, Justin, Ciara, Madonna, Christina, etc. can do so much more than she can.

I have paid for her cds, however I never did, nor will I ever pay to see her in concert. I go to concerts to hear vocalist sing and bands perform. This has never been Britney nor will it ever be. I don't know why people are surprised she danced and lip synced that's what she does. I'm not knocking it, I just wouldn't pay to see it.
