Michelle Williams looked beautiful and smitten with Spike Jonze at a screening of Synecdoche, New York Wednesday night, but yesterday it was Matilda's turn to get all dressed up. She showed off one her finest princess dresses with her kid-friendly Crocs for a stroll around the neighborhood. Miss Matilda obviously knows the importance of a good costume, so hopefully she's got something special to wear for trick-or-treating around Brooklyn this Halloween.

It's also rather odd to pick on a loving mother who always dresses conservatively when we have celebs like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls.

34I don't understand why people feel the need to insult like this. Matilda is a beautiful angel with a mother who loves and protects her the best way she can. I'm lucky enough to know his grandmother, who has a heart of gold and was always overflowing with love and pride when ever she was telling us what Heath was up to. I only ever saw him a few times but he always respected everyone around him and showed thoughtfulness. He never acted as though he was better than any of us. His daughter is beautiful and will be brought up to be just as kind and thoughtful. Michelle is being the best mother to her daughter she can be and that in itself deserves respect and recognition rather than being brought down by negativity.

36I don't know Michelle personally but have to say that I give her so much credit in how she has handled this very difficult year. Living in a fish bowl is not easy especially when the father of your baby dies suddenly. Not to mention that she and the Heath broke up only a few months prior to his death. So, she had a double dose of grief.
From where I sit, she has handled everything with dignity, compassion, and strength. She has done everything in her power to protect her lovely little girl and still maintain a presence in the public eye as needed.
Even for someone so young. Keep in mind, Michelle is only 28 years old, she has been given a full plate.
The pap also barely gives her any privacy. If Michelle wants to date, she has every right to do so and should not be criticized for it.
Just as a reminder as sad as it is, Heath is dead and they were broken up prior to his death. After the devastating blow she was dealt, Michelle is entitled to happiness and some fun.
She has handled herself in a manner that she and her family can be proud of. I don't understand people to insult her. I can only guess it is out of jealousy and or stupidity.
