Beyonce got all freaking wet for the May cover of Vibe, but still kept her lady parts all ladylike or something. She catches a lot of flack from the media these days (blogs especially), but in the article B talks about how she deals with the stress of being so public at what is still a pretty young age and that alleged feud -- you know the one. Here are highlights:
- On being a celebrity:"Everybody messes with celebrities. At a point, you just have to decide if you really want it. If you do, you have to have a tough skin."
- On how it affects those close to her: "If it's something about my sister or my nephew or it's something evil, then yes, I'm upset," Beyoncé said about gossip. "I wanna kill somebody. If it's a rumor that's vindictive, or something harmful, or something everybody's believing that is completely not true, then it's frustrating because there's nothing you can do about it."
- On her rumors of a feud with Jennifer Hudson: "I’ve worked with Britney, I’ve worked with Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and they don’t start [rumors]. Whenever it’s two black women … it’s unfortunate."
Beyonce makes a good point. While the nature of B and J-Hud's friendship, or lack thereof, has obviously been blown out of proportion over the last few years, I must admit I'm a little bit curious to see what happens at the MTV Movie Awards (where they are nominated in the same category). I'm bad. In the meantime, though, uh...don't get on Beyonce's bad side?

4In reference to the big feud, I think it's true that the media tries to pit a war between two similar yet different stars. Britney vs. Christina were the feuding pop tarts, Hilary and Lindsay were the feuding tween queens, and now Beyonce and Jennifer are the black pop stars. That said, I don't know whether they actually like each other or not, but I think the media does like to over-embellish relationships between celebrities whether good or bad.

30well aprild, I think it might be the most widely accepted fact that her SI cover shorted out even the best photoshop equipment. That cover was just a complete joke. This VIBE cover just reinforces how hilarious the SI cover was. She's a ghetto pig and there is no hiding those thunderous thighs!!

Beyonce looks good in this pic; not all women can be super-skinny. At least she is fit and healthy, and you can be that at any size. That being said: I type this as a bit of vomit rises in my throat because B gets on my nerves that much. She needs to take a break.
For her to play the race card about the J-Hud feud is so ridiculous. Is she seriously saying people are only making a big deal about those two because they are black women? Maybe people are talking about a feud because J-Hud is much more talented than Beyonce. I think she looks great and it's people who are judgemental and harsh that cause other's to have weight issues and eating disorders...you don't have to love her, or even like her, but to outright insult her for not having what in your mind is a perfect body is just unneccessary, let's focus on what the blog is about, not what you think her thighs look like...that being said, I think she's handled her celebrity with a much higher level of class and dignity than a lot of women her age, I wish her all the best
38Wow, she's right, you do need a tough skin. After reading some of these harsh comments, I can see why. It seems like there are a bunch of insecure, jealous people on this blog.
