Ashlee Simpson's baby bump stood out leaving Kamasaku restaurant on Friday and around LA on Saturday. Ashlee doesn't have much longer before the arrival of her supposed little boy, and she already has help lined up for the transition. According to Life & Style, Tina Simpson is moving in with the new parents for a little while after Ash gives birth. With Jessica talking to the baby, Pete gushing with enthusiasm, and both families ready to help out, this newborn is already surrounded by a lot of love.

Okay, is this a new practice, have Mom or Mom in law move in when new baby comes? Call me crazy, but when I got my newborn home I wanted to do it myself, and if I had questions I used the phone to ask!
This strikes me as someone not ready to be a parent, and I LIKE ashlee, but that doesn't seem like a smart move.
I am perfectly aware though that this may just be me.
1Is it just me, or does it seem like her pregnancy has lasted forever?
2I think she never looked more beautiful and pregnancy really changed her style in good!I like the way she is dressing lately.
3dresses*
4Sorry!
Yes I agree Pxp!
5she still preggers? wow.
6wow - she's REALLY preggo there. honestly as much as i like the comfort of maxi dresses when you're pregnant, i think that this is a better look cause then you see that she's really just big where the baby is and not all around.
it's nice that her mom will be able to move in and help for a bit. it's got to be hard being so young and having the baby - but i guess that's kind of what happens when you get preggo and have to shotgun a wedding.
7I BEGGED my mom to come stay with me! She didn't move in, but she stayed for a week. I had no idea what I was doing, and neede all the help I could get. It was nice to have someone there to watch the baby when you wanted to have a nap or a bath or cook supper for you. I was sad when she left, but I wouldn't want her living with me for a long time. I'd rather have my mom there than a nanny.
8My mother in law moved in for 3 weeks, it was actually nice to have the help, and the sleep! I am not crazy about her look here, it's just not flattering to her, she is a pretty girl...
9pxpxcutie, I was JUST about to ask the same thing!
10Her chin look more pregnant.
11looks*
12mmm i dont see much of a change in her style but props to her for not getting an extra chin! haha she looks pretty
13I think she has carried well throughout her pregnancy. And I think the reason that she seems to be pregnant for so long is because she didn't start showing until much later in her pregnancy-there were rumors for like 3 months before they confirmed it & even then she wasn't showing at all. I think she looks good.
14Seems like she's been pregnant forever
15Was the twins rumor ever officially debunked?
16Ummmmmmm, no it hasn't been forever???! Women are pregnant for 9 months, y'all. That's almost 1 year. Ashlee only announced her pregnant back in June, which was barely 5 months ago. Her stomach was flat as a board when she got married in May. I bet she'll only give birth in November.
17yes SaDiego...Pete said there was only 1
18And actually, pregnancy is 40 weeks, so while it's "Called" 9 months, it's actually a little longer. And then, if you're like me and go two weeks overdue, you're really looking at a 10 month pregnancy. So while it seems long, it's normal. LOL
I thought about this the other day, I think we all think these pregnancies last forever because when we see a pregnancy on TV or in a Movie it happens BOOM ZING just like that and they've got the baby, I think it might skew the perception of "a long time" a bit. LOL
19pxpxcutie, I was logging in to say the exact same thing!
20I never understand the comments like "wow so-and-so has been pregnant forever." Pregnancies last a LONG time and some media outlets report celebrities' pregnancies VERY early, like with Ashlee. I think she's due in November because her belly seemed relatively flat on her honeymoon, which was at the end of May. But then again, it seems like her stomach has dropped so the baby may be coming soon.
21There is nothing wrong with a mom or mother in law coming in to help. It takes a village to raise a child and there is nothing like the wisdom of someone who has done it before. Maybe there would be less hood rats and spoiled brats running around if there were some grandmothers teaching these first time mothers how it should be done.
22wow! she's getting huge!
23I LOVE the color of her hair.
24ashlee's a very vain girl. you can tell she controls what she eats so she wont put on too much weight. without the nose job, i think she wouldnt even be in this situation (married and knoecked up). sorry but im just being honest
25Ya, don't think it's a huge deal that she's getting help from her mom - a bunch of people do that, esp when it's the first time baby, cos some new moms/dads need a little guidance or assistance and the best person would be your mom(if she was a relatively good mom to u of course). no biggie.
26hehe i dont think i'd want a village raising my child.
i wouldnt want my mother
raising my child either. Sure she did a great job raising me but the way I see it is, its my turn now. I'm with mykie7. help is just a phone call away. I wouldnt go to the extreme of having
my mother move in with me. If its my baby I'M going to be the one doing the work. I mean... I dont know many people that have babies so someone else can do the work for them.
27bitterliberation - aaahahaha omg. too funny!
28aw! she reminds me of my little sister when she was pregnant... with the brownish/red hair and HUGE tummy!
whenever i have a baby i'm gonna have my mom come stay with me for a couple weeks and there's nothing wrong with that if that's what floats your boat.
29Y'all know she's having twins, right?
