Last week Mark Wahlberg was acting angry about Andy Samberg's impersonation of the actor on SNL earlier this month. You all were on Team Andy after watching Mark's reaction on Jimmy Kimmel, but this weekend Wahlberg went on SNL to confront Andy. In the skit he actually made fun of himself and the whole situation. Watch the clip below and tell us, do you think Mark redeemed himself?

I thought this was all set up, he was in on the joke. Apparently to create buzz for his new movie coming out.
1I'm not too sure it was a set up since he's had numerous opportunities to appear on SNL but has said that he doesn't watch it nor would he ever host.
This all just seems a little contrived on his part. Kind of like his manager told him he had to appear for the sake of not being perceived as a pretentious ass.
2He was plugging Entourage and obviously Max P.
3I'm glad he went on the show.
Agreed
4I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion, and it was obvious Mark was kidding when he was on Kimmel. But I found this hilarious! I love Mark even more now, my fave part was when he said let's hug it out b*tch!
5yes - i think that it was just so funny to see him come onto the show and do that skit. it's great to know that he has a sense of humor about things~
6Congrats on his film tanking Oliver Stone's W film and for SNL for the Palin ratings power. NBC needs that badly.
7Um...it wasn't really a matter of redeeming himself because the whole thing was absolutely, one hundred percent set up by his appearance on Kimmel. It's why they made sure to get it out to the media outlets the next day and kept showing clips of him on Kimmel. Celebrities are on late night talk shows saying things every night of the week---it was no coincidence that Mark's comments were given such attention.
I thought everybody was supposed to get that was part of the joke.
8Love ya Mark, but that was just lame. Sorry.
9The man is hot and can do no wrong.
10Yes he did. I thought Mark couldn't take joke but he redeemed his my eyes. I adore him again.
11It was really funny especially when the donkey made his second appearance...and ps- I think that Andy's impression of Mark was scary good.
12I'm with TidalWave.
Hot and can do no wrong!
13I do think he redeemed himself some but I voted "No" because I agree with the "skit wasn't funny" part. Not just the one he did but the original as well. Lame. I think they just wanted an excuse to have animals on the set.
14I don't see how anyone could NOT think that was funny! That is since everyone made a big deal out of it. I thought it was great!
15Great! I do not think he needed to redeem himself since I always though that he was always kidding. Love Andy, love Mark.
16Great! I do not think he needed to redeem himself since I always though that he was always kidding. Love Andy, love Mark.
17I thought it was awesome...there's nothing funnier than showing someone that they can't be more you than you... that's a secure person who can do that.
;)
18I *heart* Mark
I thought it was hilarious
19I think it was a case of the public taking things too seriously.
20ehh. im not buying it. the funniest part was Andy..hah go figure. i think it was just a lame way to get publicity.
21im happy he did that
i like him again
22hilarous!!!! loved him and andy, very funny!!!
23I think it would have been funnier if he had gone on SNL and done the entire Mark Wahlberg talks to animals skit, verbatim.
24I wondered if he was mortified to be standing next to Sarah Palin in the beginning.
25He had nothing to redeem! He's been joking all along and I can't believe everyone thinks it's such a big deal?
26I don't think a lot of people got it, because maybe it wasn't that funny, but the whole Jimmy Kimmel thing was a joke and he probably already knew he was coming on Saturday Night Live at the time. It all made me laugh. I actually have all the clips back to back on my blog. They make me laugh, just jokes people, these aren't the things we should take seriously.
27I voted other. While I'm usually a fan of MW, he took the skit too literally. Obviously it struck a chord, b/c he's been talking about it on Ellen and other shows. Maybe he'll stop taking himself so seriously.
28He was talking about it on other shows because he was setting the stage for the already booked and planned joke skit on SNL. TADOW is correct. He wasn't being serious on KImmel. These are the jokes, people!
29I wasn't sure whether he was joking about it, but it's nice that he has redeemed himself and has had a sense of humor about the whole thing. The skit wasn't too funny though.
30I'm still baffled by the fact that anyone could think that Mark was serious and can't take a joke. It's called entertainment. He's an actor. And he didn't "redeem" himself. It's all part of the big bad plan called publicity! Hello people!
31Yeah, I thought he was joking on Kimmel...I don't see how anyone took it seriously either. It was cute though, I love him. He's the same in every movie, but that's his thing.
32I'm not sure if it was all a set up, but I do know that that sketch was hilarious: "You're a donkey, right? I produce Entourage."
33I love Marky Mark! Next time Andy should rap with the Funky Bunch, heehee!
