And if you are going to lip synch.. at least have the courtsey to properly fake the singing by spitting out the gum! LOL!

In all fairness, it would be hard trying to make a comeback after everything that she's done/gone through. There's always going to be stories out about her because people love to hate her. That's just the way the business is.

But, that video...you could totally tell she was lip-syncing.

Um, I could do the "dance" she was doing and I could probably do it in step...this was awful....

NO there's no "practice" when you're trying to make a "comeback"....you usually only get one shot to make it big again. THIS will not get her the fan base that she wants again. Sorry, this is my honest opinion. I have been a fan of Britney since day one, but this is not good enough to recover...

On Access last night (on at the gym), this guy was saying that fans at the San Diego show were really disappointed, they were let down, and it seemed that she didn't try.

On KISS FM this morning a person that had been at last night's show called in and called it "funny" because it was so not professional, and he wondered if she practiced here lip syncing.

I don't think this tour was a good idea.

JustMe...that's exactly what I said yesterday! Seriously, I've seen 12 year olds do more difficult dance steps.

If all people are paying for is a "show", she needed to put in some more razzle dazzle.

I would have had maybe a little respect for her if she had come out on stage with acoustic guitar back-up, and a mic, and just sung her old songs. Being pregnant may keep you from dancing, but it doesn't keep you from singing. I've never thought she had a good voice, but her fans seem to think so. This would have been her opportunity to prove to everyone that she has talent.

I was there last night & security was horrible at HOB Anaheim! Everyone wanted to bring in their cameras/cell phones. Those who had these items had to make another line to check them in
It upset me because well the San Diego pictures were already out anyway, so what's the deal?

Side note, we did have an opening act, not sure if there was one in San Diego. It was Frankie J.

The people that did sneak in cameras/cell phones were immediately identified with flashlights by security guards and kick out. Which made me hesitate about taking out my camera.

Anyway, what disappointed me the most was the lip syncing. I mean I knew about it before from San Diego but somehow it's still bothersome that she can't sing & dance at the same time! Every other Mouseketeer can sing & dance their own music!

Physically she looks great in shape. I have to give her that much. Although, my friend and I truly believe this would have been a much more interesting show if she went bald.

So no high expectations going into this performance..but I cheer her on for at least trying & somehow getting her life slowly back on track.

New flash . . . Britney has never really sang in any of her shows . . . whether in clubs or on HBO. You know, sometimes I think I am one of the few people that have witnessed other people destroy their lives and struggle to regain control. I give Britney props for getting out there and starting again . . . because that is exactly what she is doing. Its simply a no wim situation for her. She is clearly damaged, and our society did it. However I think the damage is such there is no realy way out for her, so she is giving it a try . . . good luck!

At the end of the clip she's hardly moving her lips at all. If you are lipsynching, at least do it convincingly!

I think she is very afraid her wig will fall off! She is not doing the same moves as the rest of the ladies in the videos! Head turns, etc! She should ditch the wig and actually dance!

Elton John blasted Madona before for lip syncing. Meg does a lot of it in her concerts. I think if you do a lot of dancing it gets very hard. Elton just sits there with a massive piano. Well I still think Brit isn't ready. I salute her thick skin for going on stage when she isn't together mentally. The girl has a lot of issues still. Who the hell is her stylist? The costume looks terrible. Shoot the stylist asap.

IT's obvious in that video how she isn't even 100% yet. I agree with the other posters. This was too soon. She needed to wait a few months - get her extensions back so she can really dance. She isn't singing and is barely dancing. It's bad.

humm, i think maybe she's trying to control her environment a little. small venues, easy dance moves and lip sync songs make performing not to threatening, heck now you can't even get a camera in there.

my guess is that HER people have cameras in there and they are going over things to see what looks good, what works and what doesn't. i would be interested to hear from anyone who went to more than one show (does such a person exist??) to see what was changed.

she wants SO much to be famous and loved and adored; that's her addiction. the rest is just a byproduct of that.

You know, I read about Brit and I try to have compassion. And then I think of someone like Tina Turner. Tina was nearly beaten to death by her husband, left Ike with a gas card and pocket change and then was held financially liable for walking out on the I&T Turner Revue. Tina HAD to work. But she managed to pull herself together, reinvent herself, launch a comeback and is now known as being one of the consummate live performers around.
