Britney Spears put on a big smile to greet Sean Preston after school on Monday. From the looks of her happy face, her driving without a license trial wasn't weighing her down despite the fact that after a full day of deliberations, the jury still hasn't reached a consensus. Apparently Britney is starting to regret letting the case go to trial since there is the threat of jail time if she's found guilty. Britney always has the latest in her phone evolution to get the updates and until then she seems to be doing a good job of keeping her mind off possible jail time by playing with her boys and posting new photos on her website.

3As a mother, I hope she can pull it together, but I seriously don't think this album and tour is appropriate at this time. I hope she has an counsel/influence outside of her family/and those on her payroll.

5she really is looking good these days - healthy and in control. i have a feeling that the jury will make the right decision and let her get off with probation or something. i think that the whole point of jury selection is to find people that don't know who she is, so they can't really pass judgment on her for anything outside of this case.

11Yeah, because Jail time is SO necessary in her case. If they forced her into in-patient psychiatric treatment, that might help (Though I don't think even THAT is necessary at this point). It's not like girl was out drunk driving, or even driving without a license. She didn't have a CALIFORNIA license, true, and yes she ought to pay a fine for that, but jail time?

I think it's ridiculous if they give her jail time. It's like they are trying to make her an "example" like Paris Hilton when she went to jail, except this isn't even as serious as what Paris did. I hope she gets some form of punishment, but not jail time.
16The case was a mistrial, so it's up to the court system as to whether or not they present it to a new jury, but there were multiple charges from this incident and she was already let off of all the others. This could have gone away easily with a fine and probation, but she insisted on taking it to trial.
