I got through a divorce without either of us having a lawyer, his overlapping engagement and quick remarriage. And yet, last Saturday there we all sat as a family supporting my son at his football game, like adults who love the children and like/at least respect each other. When the kids are used as pawns or leverage, that's about as low as you can go.
And I hope this isn't the beginning of her 'see, I'm the better parent' trial for the public eye. That's a family matter and that's where it should stay for the kid's sake.

you can't really think that she wants to be in NYC cause of the guy do you? i think that's a bit out there. she's always loved nyc and lourdes' father lives here - so that makes sense. i think that people are just trying to stir up trouble. i think that it would be nice for them to stay in london since that's kind of where they've been for AGES, but i guess madge will do whatever she feels is best for the family.

Mesay, I was thinking the same thing. My divorce was very amiable too. Not because the man wasn't an idiot, but because we had a son together. My thought was, "Hey, the boy didn't ASK to be born, we owe it to him to STILL let him have 2 parents!" I just wish more people could do that.

I don't think that we can determine who the bad guy is in this situation. They both seem extremely headstrong and they probably gave each other HELL in equal doses. But GOOD GOD! That Yankees shirt is a bit much! Also I think the kids spent more time in NY than they did in England because, I watched a documentary for her Re-Invention tour and her kids did not have a single trace of British accent. So I'm sure that NY is more home to them than England.

I am not a great fan of Madonna, but I have respect for the way she has raised her children - good schools and far away from the limelight. As far as I recall, Lola was never paraded around like a mini-fashionista when she was younger! The fact that so many people point out how normal she seems and how good manners she have testify to the fact that Madge has done something right. Her children seem well-adjusted and they are not over-exposed.

As for the t-shirt, I am sure he picked it out himself and she probably thought "let him wear whatever he wants"..how would she explain the whole controversy to him anyway?

i was quite a fan of madge, but if this is all because she has fallen for another man then its just selfish, it dosn't matter where the kids live so long as they have a good and close relationship with both their parents and are happy, talking about her having another child with another guy so soon, its sounds too bloody desperate, she's not going to be able to hold on to him long, he'l probably run a mile after hearing this.
