Chanel pulled out all the stops to celebrate the opening of their mobile art pavilion [1] in New York's Central Park last night. Silver and black were the colors of the night on stars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Raver, Kate Bosworth and Karl Lagerfeld in his usual uniform. The night was so cold and windy that a pole fell on Kim Raver as she started walking down the red carpet. At one point James Rousseau sweetly offered Kate Bosworth his jacket and kissed her cheek when she looked chilly. She also laughed and chatted with Helena Christensen while enjoying the live music. Samantha Ronson's mom Ann talked to us about Lindsay and Samantha — more on that later — but needless to say it was a glamorous night from start to finish.
