Jay-Z walked arm in arm with his work and play partner Beyonce Knowles as they left Cipriani's and headed to Diddy's L'Uomo Vogue cover party at 1OAK in NYC last night. Name-changing Diddy may have given Beyonce some inspiration for her upcoming double album, half of which she recorded under her pseudonym, Sasha Fierce. She said, "I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am." This isn't the first we've heard of Sasha, but Beyonce seems to be embracing "the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side" more than ever. While Beyonce seems plenty glamorous herself, it'll be fun to see how the two halves of the double album line up with her dual personas.

2Ugh, this annoys the heck out of me. Can't she just be herself?? Is it too much to ask for? I understand performers get into another level when they sing but making a whole new "persona" out of it is so ridiculous.

9well i'm not sure how to even respond about the new name thing that beyonce is playing with but i guess that if it works for her, then that's her thing right? she's so successful in her own right that it could be fun for her to switch things up a bit.
10To those of you who complain about how boring she is or how much she annoys you...why are you even visiting this page? And if she's that annoying, ignore her. People are always so negative about things they don't understand, and it's just sad. I don't care either way, but I just hate to see people criticize her every move when she's just doing what she loves in life!
