Turns out LL was right... Paris really did hack her Blackberry. She and many, many other users had their SpoofCard account deleted for "misusing the service." But Paris' reps don't care because the poor thing suffered the most when her pictures and numbers were hacked and leaked on the Internet. Page Six reports:
"All of the people that were terminated were terminated because they had violated the terms and conditions of use," company lawyer Mark Del Bianco told The Post's Hasani Gittens. Del Bianco also confirmed Lohan was a victim of the calling cards that can "spoof" caller ID displays, making it easy to tap into certain voice-mail systems. Lohan's publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, said all information has been handed over to Lohan's lawyers, adding, "All I know is that Lindsay's messages were getting changed and she couldn't figure out what was going on, and now we know why." Hilton's rep, Elliot Mintz, stressed SpoofCard did not necessarily link her to Lohan's electronic woes. "I can't think of a single person in America who has been more humiliated by people breaking into [mobile devices] than Paris Hilton," said Mintz, whose client was out of reach in Japan promoting her new album.

Paris is at her happiest when she's causing the misery of the people she dislikes. The real smile that comes out (not the posed fake smile we are all familiar with) tells the truth.
When have you ever seen her so stricken with glee as when Brandon was doing his "firecrotch" routine. Heck, Paris is monotone when discussing her excitement over her music career in interview. But when she starts making fun of people, that all changes.

18Spoofcard is a popular service amongst both celebs, pranksters and hackers. Celebs use it mainly to obscure their identity.
You can use it to hide or to fully change your caller ID to appear as whatever you want it to. You can also use it to change your voice.
You basically buy minutes, then call a 1-800-number, sort of like a long distance card. Enter who you are calling, what you want the caller id to read, and what voice you want (male, female, yours, etc.) and the call goes through.
Some voicemail systems use caller id to authenticate who you are and allow you to retrieve your messages from that criteria alone. This is a huge security hole in many voicemail systems that is having to be patched as services like spoofcard become popular.
Paris easily could have used this to access lindsay's voicemail. Once inside the voicemail system you can gain access to all kinds of fun things.
You don't have to be skilled or even that smart to figure out this stuff. It's well withing Paris' reach, especially when she's hanging around immature jokesters like Brandon.
It would also be easy for paris to make it look as if she was Lindsay calling. All that would be left is to pull of a good enough voice acting job of "being lindsay."
I'm sure spoofcard proved tons of fun for paris, until her account got banned, that is.
On top of this, it's not terribly hard to use social hacking techniques, espeically if you have a lot of knowledge of the target (boyfriend's names, birthdates, etc.) You can figure out pins and passcodes for many people without a ton of work.
Lesson. Choose strange passwords, mix upper and lowercase, use random pins that don't correlate to your personal information. And at all costs, don't mess with Paris Hilton, 'cause she gets off on making you suffer.
