Jessica Biel went for spring sexy wearing a lot of yellow and showing a lot of skin in the May issue of Elle. It seems like Jessica is everywhere lately - her new movie Next is in theaters now, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry will be out this summer. You would never know it, but she still feels like she is fighting to get to where she wants in her career. Here's more:
- On still struggling to get parts she wants: “Parts that I want aren’t going to me. Like The Other Boleyn Girl with Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman. I don’t want to say there’s nothing I love that I can’t have. But there’s still the occasional script that the director doesn’t want to see you for. They want that top tier of girls.”
- On having “Her Moment’: “The scary thing is that if it’s ‘your moment,’ that eventually disappears. I think about reaching for ‘the moment,’ but never really achieving it. That way I’m always striving.”
- On being named ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ by Esquire magazine: “I thought the Esquire cover was going to be really positive for my career. But it wasn’t, really. [One director told me] ‘I’m not looking for the sexiest woman; I’m looking for the girl next door.’”
Even if she's not yet getting all the parts she wants, Jess is still doing pretty well for herself. Plus, with poses like these, she'll definitely keep getting more than enough attention from the boys!

3i used to love her until i read an interview with her last week where she used the word "retarded" yes i know it may seem so fickle of me to hold that against someone but "retarded" is a really mean word that is used to degrade people/places/ things, she referred to herself as "fashion retarded", not cool she could have found a way better word to explain herself...if she doesnt want to be seen as sexy maybe she shouldn't pose like this, just my thoughts...she is pretty and does have a killer body but all in all she is a so so actress

7Yeah, I totally think the way to be accepted as a serious actress is to pose in a magazine with your a** up in the air and on the cover with your t*ts hanging out. I think Scarlett gets away with that because she is a great actress. I DID see the Illusionist and, frankly, wasn't blown away.

i have to agree that if she doesn't want to be seen as overly seductive, she could take measures to seem more girl-next-door. that said, i will say she has a great body and my friends used to love her as mary on 7th heaven lol

I think she is beautiful and seems fun, but her acting is a little shallow. I wasn't that impressed with her in the "Illusionist", although I don't think she was horrible either. Just ok.

15I really don't see the hype about this girl, I really don't. She was a child actress and when she was 17, posed topless for FHM or Stuff or one of those "fitness" magazines. Anyway, her method of acting is bland. Not terribly bad, but not Oscar worthy either. And to say "She has a great body" isn't saying much because let's face it; you have to look good to be in Hollywood so what makes her so different than any other actress out there?

Jessica is pretty not glamorous and she does have good body,which is her problem. No one takes her seriously as an actress because all you hear about her is how amazing her body is.
If Jessica wants to get better parts she should follow the lead of Kate Winslet. Take a role small interesting pictures about characters instead of big budget actions movies
where all you are eye candy.
P.S. A better acting coach would help too.

30I was at Spidey 3 last night with a few of my guy friends and a preview for I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry came on and my guy friends were totally drooling over her. So I can see how she would be named sexiest woman alive, especially if a bunch of men are debating on it.
I do think she is a very attractive woman, maybe not the sexiest but good looking none the less. As far as her acting goes, I'm imparcial.

40she's not a terrible actress, but she doesn't have much charisma, and her beauty is very... sterile. i look at her and i see all the right things, but it comes off so very cold and sterile. she doesn't give off any heat or something.
