High School Musical 3 hit theaters on Friday, and earlier this week the whole cast paid a visit to TRL after traveling the world to promote their movie. It's the last film in the hugely successful franchise, but since most of you don't think Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are America's newest sweethearts we are curious to see what you make of all the hype. So tell us — are you planning to see HSM 3?

nope - i have no intentions AT ALL to go see it. i've never seen the others and i don't get the point of it. i guess that maybe i'm from a different age group to have an appreciation for it, and i don't care much for the stars either
1who is the kid in the black cardigan?? i dont remember him from the movies.
i'm not gonna lie, i like this franchise. yes its cheesy and about as deep as a puddle, but its clean, the music is fun, its pretty refreshing and a whole lot better for tweens and teens than Gossip Girl.
2I've seen the first two and might see this one also, but I'm not planning on it. I'm not getting the hype either although its joy is contagious. It's a guilty pleasure but I can't say I'm holding my breath to see it. It's more of a way to cure boredom.
3I would someone would see it with me!!!! but no one I know will, lol.
4
5No way I am going to see it ,already I do not know why all this for
6I'm sure it's a good kid's movie, but I'm not a kid! I don't get the fascination AT ALL. I find it a ittle freaky, actually.
7This is a group of the most effeminate boys and too grown girls I've seen in a while.
8I'm too old
9It's good to see that people are not going googah over this film on this site. I really don't like Disney anymore. The programmes that they make are really horrible especially compared to the ones that they had in the 90's.
JustJared is a great site, but it has so many trolls and tweenbops on there.
10I am actually, I'm going to go see with two of my friends this school holiday
I'm
still in high school so I have a good excuse
11Hell no! I can't it or anything associated with it. But then again I'm no teen.
12I actually just came back from seeing it... very PLEASANTLY surprised!
13I'm with you, Nyrina Windu. I just don't get the fascination with this bunch. My high school days are loooooong over.
14never heard of it
15ive never seen any of them, my daughter is invited to a birthday party at the movies and thats what we are watching that one yay not, i agree haus
16Hmmmm, actually I already saw it at the midnight release, haha. I feel so silly to admit that! I'm really not a huge HSM fan, but my school just performed the first one as our fall musical and I was Gabriella, so I feel kind of obligated to like it. The movie was actually really cute. The group dance numbers were amazing.
17With how much it costs to actually go to the movies and by the time you get refreshments and snacks (which usually cost more than the ticket - scary enough!) I don't think any movie is worth that much. I'd rather just wait until it comes out on dvd & watch it minus all the screaming younger children.
18I'll wait to see it on dvd
19hate hate hate hate HSM!
20Yeah I saw it yesterday actually..but I'm in highschool lol. Highschool kids want to see it, adults dont. Duh.
21Why is it not i cinemas in the US yet, but already in Denmark??
That doesn´t make any sense to me...
22Oh wait, Friday. Sorry
23
"we're all in this together", oh sorry. yes, today at 5:00 we will be seeing this. my girls are
thrilled. a group of us are going together so i think it will be fun. but if it wasn't for my kids, i would have no idea the movie was even out.
24I'm 25 so no thanks. I'm all for teen movies (I still love the ones from the 90's)and musicals but this is just too cheesy. I saw the beginning of the second one on Tv a week ago and it made me cringe so bad!
25i am a 14 year old teen , but wait!.....this does not even make any sense! i never liked them or even the high school movie thing! ugh boring.....
26No thanks. I'm not 12. Plus, Disney "stars" such as these guys, Miley, and the Jonas Bros make me throw up in my mouth a little.
27I'm over the age of 13, so no
.
28yeah im a bit old to be envious of teeny boppers in h.s. plus i hate musicals
29seriously, someone PLEASE explain the appeal of this franchise to me? Im all for musicals, but seriously, this one? DONT GET IT AT ALL! lol:)

31I've watched 15 minutes of a episode to try to understand the muse of this show from children and since that, I don't want to watch it ever again. It's a total joke. I don't understand why there's a lot of stupid show for young audience these past few years. Peoples are running out of smart ideas, I guess. How sad...
32isn't it for kids?
33I love HSM, but I think its a little young for this site. Posters seem older here than the targeted Disney audience. I am an immature dork tho so I'll prob go see it if I get a chance
34i'm taking my nephew to give my brother & sis-in-law a chance to do something more grown-up. hsm is hardly a cinematic masterpiece, but it's cute & fun for kids... it's what disney does.
35those movies are really stupid( at least i think so) and they lip sing to the song because they already recorded it.
36uh...no HSM3 for me. And that's quite the CLUELESS moment Vanessa is having there with the thigh high's....oh my!
37That would be a no for me, I haven't seen the others.
38well we saw the movie and the audience was 80% female in the 6-10 year old age range. several groups, a few dads came but mostly moms. cute, and better than i expected. perfect for the little girls that were in attendance.
39I actually saw it today, but only because it was my 12 year old sister's birthday and she LOVES those movies. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't really care for the first one (SO CHEESY), and the second one was actually pretty cute but I don't really like the story, just some of the songs. And Ashley Tisdale is so great in those movies
This one actually had some cool songs and dance sequences. I can't stand Vanessa Hudgens
though.
laineecope8: They pre-record the vocals for almost every movie, unless it's supposed to be live (like a concert performance or something, and even that sometimes is lip-synched). It's nothing new. But yes, some of them are terrible at lipsynching.
40I haven't seen the first two but my daughter loves everything HSM, so I plan on taking her to see it next week because she did well on her report card. Otherwise, I wouldn't care about seeing it at all.
41I'm not afraid to admit that I loved the first two! I'm in my 20's, but what can I say? I love "feel-good" "kid" movies? Whatever, I like what I like
42I saw it. I'm not ashamed to admit that I liked it either! It's cheesy and funny, but I like a cheese in my life...
43a little cheese* not just a cheese
44I don't know why, but these movies are like the ultimate guilty pleasures for me (probably because I love musicals, and I really like most of the songs - especially in the first movie). I'll admit that they are probably the stupidest movies ever made, and most of the actors are awful and don't do their own singing, but I just really like them...

46I liked 1&2 a lot, and have both soundtracks on my iPod for working out or when I need to feel good. I probably won't spend any money to see HSM3, but I would want to see it. Sharpay is amazing
47i'm taking my niece and nephew to go see this in a couple of hours...
48I would probably go see this except for the fact that I cant stand Vanessa Hudgens and want to slap that smirk off her face . . .plus Disney and all its "stars" really creep me out
49i saw it opening night with my roommates as a joke, and it was actually pretty fabulous. i can't remember the last time i went to the theater and enjoyed a g rated movie but the choreography is great and you can tell that zac efron was really trying hard to make this an exhibit of his acting talent and not just OH MY GOD HIGH SCHOOL MUSICALLLLL.
