I don't think that dress suits her body shape

I think she looks amazing-healthy, beautiful and relaxed (wink wink). She is one of the rare actresses who seem to not give in to the media pressure to be anorexic and she wears what she likes, not worried about being "fashionable" in other peoples perceptions.

Who cares what she is smoking. It's her choice. It could be a rolled cigarette, but a little cannabis never hurt anyone. But also keep in mind she is European--in Europe smoking cannabis is a misdemeanor offense at worst.

I love how everybody plays down the drug taking.Iam from Europea and dope is the first step towards heavy drugs and if you do it steadily as she is rumored,then it means she probably does other drugs too.Oh i forgot only Lindsay does drugs in Hollywood.

@KatiaD: No one is "downplaying" drug consumption. However thinking cannabis may be a "gateway" toward narcotics is such a limited (and American) perspective. You may fear the way we treat cannabis in Western Europe, but our society has FAR less crime than yours and functions at a much higher and more efficient level.

Our decriminalization of cannabis isn't the only reason our society is this way, but studies have shown that there was a steady decrease in crime once people were allowed to smoke a bit of pot here and there.

@Jennybop: I know a lot about the American judicial system, and decriminalization is something that occurs on a state level. In maine, for instance, getting caught with a few grams is nothing more than a parking violation. However in New Jersey, it is considered a narcotic. So, now matter how much substance you have on you, you are booked in the same manner in which a cop would arrest a, say, heroin junkie. It doesn't really seem like it should be on the same level, does it.

Oh, and for the record, I actually do not smoke. The difference is that I respect the rights' of others to do so.

Iam European too,and coming from a country that views cannabis as a plant and something we use in our daily life as medicine cause it has many pros.But still remains a drug and combine it with drinking it becomes seriously dangerous.

I actually think she looks better than she used to (aside from recent wardrobe choices). Am I the only one who remembers how horribly thin that girl used to be? Glad to see she is eating...probably due to the munchies (sorry...I couldn't resist).

Anyway, she is annoying and doesn't dress in a way that accentuates her body, but at least she isn't rail thin anymore!

The only problem is the origin of that weed, the people bringing it in the US are not paying taxes in their countries or here and only contribute to lower employment rates and others which at the end causes emigration to the US. So to that I say f--ing ignorant pothead.

I just wonder if her "smoke" is rolled as tight as the dress. Because really, a bandage dress isn't exactly the best choice if you know you'll be "relaxing" and letting it all hang out a bit- as we can see from a coupla pics. well mischa likes to push the envelope - so i guess this isn't all that surprising if you think about it. oh well - i hope that she's being smart about it. as for her in that dress - she looks great standing up in it - but maybe not so much while she's sitting down.

The truth is that a Herves bandage dress should not be worn in "chill" moments. We all know what happens after a few drinks- the "gotta suck it in" gets forgotten VERY quickly. I can look damn good in a dress, but sitting down, it all tends to spread, doesn't it, girls? My rules are; stand, lean, dance!

However I may have not lived in the US in a very long time, but I nonetheless tell people I am American with a European upbringing--Mischa is european, but with an American upbringing.

And, no, don't be stupid. Spending 2 years somewhere means absolutely nothing--you barely get to know the culture in that amount of time!

She isn't so control over her image. She reminds me of Dunst. They're very similar except Mischa has a better body! Sofia Coppola is very European I think. THough she lives in the US I think her parents are full on Italians.

Mischa has also spoken about the fact that she identifies with being English very much also in the past. She adores London.

Mischa complains about other peoples bad dress sense she should look at her bloody own. The dress is beautiful and Mischa has dressed alot better when she was in her O.C days.But now its all up to the fashion gods to do something with her arghhhhh terrible.

i think she looks cute in that dress. much better than sometimes! i know a lot of people (and other websites) are saying she doesn't look good in it, and that shes skinny fat and while i kind of agree on the skinny fat thing (meaning i think she isn't very toned) i think this dress looks nice on her.

lol...cute dress...horrid shoes! as far as the weed goes..she's a adult...its partly legal here in OR....you can have so much of it and not be busted. i saw people selling it at the saturday market,(a sign that said-need weed?) and there were cops milling around. right now they are trying to pass a law to sell in liquor stores here...which i hope they don't. but i've seen people at bus stops, the license branch and out walking smoking joints...lovely.

I really don't care what she does with her life, I actually met her once and not only is she very nice, but she is even more beautiful in person than on TV (I mean, seriosuly more pretty - what do they do on TV that makes them look uglier?), but what I hate about her is that she's a terrible actress. she has finally stopped getting work (thank God), but everyone is still obcessed with her - who cares?! Morgs, I don't think you can generalise about "Western Europe" like that. It's a big place with a lot of countries that are culturally very different.

Kiki, it is no generalization. Culturally there are differences. I never said there wasn't. However politically, the differences are very few and far between. Think of our governments as structured somewhat similaryl to the US's. You have a lot of small states that make their own decisions in some areas, but where major things are concerned, there is one governing body that standardizes important laws.

This is why the European Community was founded in the 50s (yes, it's true. It goes back that far, but was under a different name). And, in order for new countries to be eligible, they must change crucial laws to be on par with the EU. For instance, Turkey is still ineligible because they still have the death penalty (something we haven't had in europe in a very long time).
