the video had potential, but just seems like she gave up halfway through. i dont get it!! lady gaga does it so much better.

That video was completely boring. The song is okay, but not great (though I hate this kind of music, so I can't really be a decent judge of that). It is one of the only songs where her voice doesn't sound too over the top.

Lady GaGa herself is a rip off.

Look up: Grace Jones, David Bowie, Deborah Harry, and Andy Warhol. She borrows every ounce of her image from them, and most of her music from other unknowns.

And this song doesn't even SOUND anything like GaGa's stuff. I have GaGa's entire album, and besides the Synths here and there (which are in a LOT of music these days) it's nothing like any of GaGa's songs.

She even envys Christina, which is why she fashions her vocals on her.

Everything Christina's doing with her image she's done in her shows previously. The blunt Bangs, the leather, the scarves, etc. And GaGa isn't the only one doing them now, hell she's not even the most famous.

I was excited when I saw the little teaser video. I thought Xtina'd finally be able to hold my attention....and once again, I was let down. The song is pretty good; I love that she's not oversinging (for once!!!!!!!). I just don't buy into Xtina as anything other than a good singer. While I know everyone just rips off everyone else in the pop music world, she just doesn't do a good job of it.

I loved it .. Christina Aguilera is not ripping off Lady Gaga. In fact this video is very reminiscent to Red Blooded Woman by Kylie Minogue. Just so everyone also knows Lady Gaga is a rip off of Roisin Murphy of course many would not know this cause Roisin isn't mainstream and Lady Gaga is.

Honestly, why would she rip off Lady GaGa? They both created this "look" awhile ago, its hard to tell what came first: the chicken or the egg. Neither of their looks are that original anyway. Lady GaGa is only known for one flippin' song, I don't get why so many people are ripping off their precious Lady GaGa. I think Lady GaGa is only semi-famous in the States because of Perez Hilton and The Hills.

And just because Christina dresses up in different costumes doesn't mean that she is copying Toxic. There are many, many videos where artist dress up as different personas. It's not an original concept.

JonHamm - I agree with most of what you say, but Lady Gaga isn't a direct ripoff. She takes elements from all those artists, not an entire image. Lately, when I've seen Christina out, I've had to look twice to make sure who I'm looking at. That said, Lady Gaga does take cues from Grace Jones quite extremely.

Her album hasn't had the opportunity to do something here because it hasn't been released. However, in about an hour and half we'll see.

I love Christina and I love the song, but the video isn't that great. It looks like an artist's first video that they threw together because they had no clue what to put in it. But, it's just a video for a song off of her Greatest Hits, so I can overlook it haha.

I don't care for the video. Just boring. I do "like" the song however not crazy about it. It looks like she is trying to look like Lady Gaga and it doesn't work (and personally Lady Gaga is putting out better songs right now.)

The one thing ya'll have to remember, is these are poptarts. They're not real musicians. Some may be able to sing and do a little dance but at the end of the day they couldn't put it together themselves. That's why they have a team of people who help them with their image, give them a song writing/music person or team, and dictate to them what to do. They're puppets, not musicians.

I just looked up this Lady Gaga character and she's from the same poptart formula as Christina and Britney, so there is no wonder you see similarities, they're from the same box and things are bound to repeat.

I couldn't watch the whole thing. I was bored 20 seconds in...then she made a move that was a ripoff of Kevin Federline premiering his hot jam PoPo Zow on MTV...remember that awesome video? Then I started thinking how I'd rather be listing to PoPo Zow than this Gwen Stefanni throw-away. Then I was thinking about eggs and bacon because of Gwen and Gavin's Halloween costumes, so I had to go to the kitchen and get something to eat, then by the time I came back the video was over.

i thought it was pretty good. especially after her whole change of direction she had recently with those 50's like songs. it was getting on my nerves so this pop song and video was a nice needed change for her. it wasnt bad
