It was another night of dancing for Britney Spears, who stepped out of the studio with her hoodie in LA this week. While Brit's been busy with her fitness routines, her lawyers continue to take care of her legal issues. She's been under her father's conservatorship since February, and now he's taken on permanent responsibility. Jamie will continue to handle everything from her money to her business decisions to career moves. Having her dad around has been a main factor in Britney's turnaround, so we're all for anything that keeps her so happy, healthy and closer to a major comeback.

she looks lost like a lost puppy, i always wonder if britney is truly happy and content with her father being the conservator or if she wishes she was back to her old self minus the batsh*t crazy days and before k-fed
1i wonder the same too pink
2For her sake it's better that her father stays in control. It looks like Brit will never manage on her own.
3I don't think the court cares if she is "happy." I think they are more concerned about whether or not she, her money, and her kids are safe.
4I don't think she was any happier before. I think she is lost and probably has some serious emotional issues.
Her body is looking great, though.
5Although it's a victory at this point, this is quite sad. I couldn't imagine not being able to be responsible for myself and not having the ability to make my own decisions regarding my life.
6i think that this is something that's really good for her. we know now that she needed to be on meds for a while and now that things are taken care of for her, it looks like her life is heading back in the right direction. i hope that even with this stuff going on that she'll get to see more of her kids.
7I just adore her.. I hope she is OK, there is something about her that just brings out the Crazy Super Mom in me.. She just looks like she needs to be loved, real love. Like a love only a MOM can give.
8Her Mother nauseates me, I can't even go there.
It's weird but she's not normal so I guess it all makes sense. I couldn't imagine being a grown woman with my father (I don't have one though) handling my business. As long as she takes care of her kids...I don't care.
9I am pretty sure that she knows its for the best that her dad is in control of her decisions. Permanent does not mean forever though. It just means that there is not an expiration date anymore like there was before. I wonder if Bryan will still have a part in the decisions as he did before or if it is now Jamie's sole responsibility?
Her body does look pretty unbelievable though!
10Her dad controlling her affairs is a good thing.I think she could really use the help.
11Thank god. Left to her own devices, she would most definitely have another meltdown.
12Ooooooooooookay, Jamie. You've gotten a second chance at being the parent you never were. Hope you step up.
13I wonder if they're talking about that she made him her personal manager? I mean, Rudolph manages her career, but celebrities have household managers too, and it SOUNDS Like that's what Jamie is doing for her. Just about every celebrity has someone to take care of those details for them, so I can't really look at this as condemnation for her.
14Yeah that is kinda weird--she's a grown woman who can't seem to make intelligent choices for herself. Although she never really had to grow up in the sense that most people do. She's been bred to be a performer, nothing more. It seems a lot of child stars have a hard time becoming adults.
15she looks good
16I love her, I can't help it. She seems so fragile and lost. I think she's on the road to recovery, but she was so messed up for so long that it's going to take some time for her to sort through her emotional problems. These are candids of her post-workout, so she's probably tired and doesn't feel like mugging for the papparazzi. But she looks generally stable and often happy lately.
17she looks fit
18One thing comes to mind. If you don't raise your kids right the first time eventually you will have to come back and do it right the second time around.
At least Britney is getting better. I'm pulling for her. I think pathetic K-fed was most of her problem.
19She had work done on her forehead. It looks fuller. I bet she had botox or restylane injected. Go back and look at other pictures.
20It all goes back to mommy and daddy. I think Britney has a complex between being the sweet angelic little girl that pleases her parents, with the rebellious wild child who makes thoughtless choices. I'm not a fan of her or her music, but it would be nice to see her stand on her own to feet and make wise and mature decisions. Unfortunately, she has the media tracking her every step of the way which must be such an invasion from making that progress.
21On a side note, they are using Brit's "Womanizer" song to describe Chuck on Gossip Girl. I saw the clip of it last night during 90210. I don't watch GG, but YAY for Brit!
22i feel so sorry for her. yeah, shes doing better than before, but i dont think she can ever be "normal". her life is in such constant turmoil and scrutiny im surprised she hasnt completely lost it. exercise is definitely the best medicine. for now.
23i think people are really pulling for Britney, but you almost wonder if this piece of trash place we called Hollywood is just going to drag her down again... its like a dark hole, sucking the decent morals and life out of everyone. Her sister was smart to move back to Louisiana...i still hope for her.
24I wish her well and that it all works out for the better. I think there are some people who need that stronger personality to help them through life and in her case it's her Dad. Thankfully she let him in and maybe she needs the continued guidance. At least she's not out shaving her head and hanging out with losers! Go Britney!
25I'm all for Britney! Fully supporting her getting back on track.
26she stinks!
27Judges don't put you under permanent conservatorship just because you make poor choices. There has to be doctors or psychiatrists who write reports outlining specifics in how you are incapacitated. It could go on for many years, but at least under supervision she gets to have some relationship with her kids.
Her problems started way before KFed, and if it had been recognized earlier, she might not have married two different men in the same year. People close to her probably just thought she was acting out as a young adult and didn't recognize the signs back then.
28cnyc1a - I think that you mean.. she looks less "rode hard and put up wet" LMAO!
29I think this post is a little misleading. I read somewhere - I think it was on people.com - that Britney spoke to the lawyer and it was HER wish that her father remain conservator. They also said that "permanent" conservator is a misleading term, since it doesn't necessarily mean that he will be hers forever. Here's the link...

30I think this is great. I don't think Britney's problems are the type that can just go away immediately by taking a magic pill, but she seems to be on the way to recovering her career, her relationship with her kids, and damn she LOOKS good! Hopefully her father will be able to help her continue in her recovery and keep her estate and affairs safe. Good for him.
As to the whole, "well they shouldn't have screwed up in the first place," I do agree the Spears family doesn't appear too fabulous, but the problems they had, many good families DO have them. And you can't just get a mental illness from being poorly raised- it has a huge genetic component. Of course, I'm sure having such instability in her life from her early success and possible lack of parenting didn't help though!
I absolutely agree with you Ginger.
And ya know, people who are like, "Britney stinks!" You're taking this a little too seriously, she is no musical genius, she's just a popstar we have on our workout playlists and sometimes hear at the clubs.
