Paris stepped outside her house this weekend to let the world know exactly how she was feeling about the judge sentencing her to 45 days in jail for violating her probation. "I told the truth yesterday," she said, "I feel that I was treated unfairly." She also said it was "both cruel and unwarranted" and that she didn't deserve it. In the wake of Friday's surprising sentence, she's also fired her publicist Elliot Mintz. She reportedly blames him for telling her she could drive when her license was suspended. Paris plans to appeal the jail sentence so it remains to be seen whether she'll actually spend any time behind bars.
In response to all this crazy Parisness, her rep for years that she has said she speaks to more than anyone else on a daily basis, has issued a statement. Poor Elliot Mintz, who has been at Ms Hilton's side through the good and bad, the 3am arrests etc, is basically taking the fall for Paris being busted for driving. It actually makes me sad to see this man - who already had the worst job ever and did it with pleasure - have to apologize like this. Elliot is taking the blame for having miscommunicated to Paris that she was allowed to drive. If this of course helps her avoid jail time then she better hire his ass back.

4With the way the LA court system works, all this judge probably does is deal with people on probation for DUI. As a result, these judges create very standard penalties for probation violations. The prosecutor asked for 45 days because he already knew that's what the judge was going to say, because that's that he always gives.
Paris needs to get over herself. That lame "I didn't know that my license was suspended" crap wouldn't work for anyone.

Wake up people, this is just one big set-up! She's probably paying Elliot a sh*tload to take the fall for her mistake, it'll really help her appeal if he testifies that HE was the one who made a mistake. Of course, he could end up going to jail for perjury if the truth ever came out, but I'm sure Paris doesn't care about that. It's absolutely ridiculous for her to say she didn't know her liscence was suspended-wasn't she at her own sentencing?! 31She didn't make one mistake, she made several, including deliberately ignoring the very generous opportunity to stay out of jail, had she just stopped driving and enrolled in her classes. Even if Elliot Mintz did mislead her (which I doubt) she can't blame anyone else for neglecting to enroll in her classes.

One drink does not give one a .08 BAC. It would not give her a .08 for someone her size either, even if she had not eaten. This is something most people know, you can learn it in any basic medical course, or even on many online resources. Unless she had "one" drink with 3 shots of hard liquor in it (which is actually 3 drink), she would have had to drink more than 1 drink. It is usually fine to drive after 1 true drink, such as a beer or small glass of wine, which would raise a 5'6'' 125 lb womans BAC to roughly .02-.03. Know what your talking about before you post and start misinforming people.
And she was not sent to jail for her DUI, she was sent to jail for violating her probation twice and not enrolling in an alcohol awareness program. I find it hard to believe those that can defend someone who violates court-mandated probations of such seriousness twice.
