Katie just looks so depressed these days. Awful. Plus, how is wrapping a blankie around Suri considered proper cold weather clothing? I think of how Brooke Shield's daughter Greir and Christina Augilera's little Max were bundled up on Pop's posts yesterday and I feel cold just looking at how Suri's dressed here.

Maybe Scientologist babies don't get cold like regular human babies.

it's nice that katie's got some time off from rehearsals to play with suri and it's always a good thing to be so close to Central Park that you can enjoy the playground there. i love these 2 regardless of what people say!

I adore them both too. I think there's concern for both of them. I don't think Tom is a horrible human being, but I agree that Katie doesn't always seem happy. It can't be easy being followed around and scrutinized constantly though. She does look quite sullen lately. That makes me sad. She has a beautiful smile and she seems to be such a nurturing soul. And her little princess is just beautiful. I don't think that a blanket is enough protection for her though, and I think that if she's being willful and not wearing a coat because she doesn't want to then she needs to not be indulged. I know too well about this, I have tons of kids around all the time. Her nose is red and her cheeks flushed.

Sorry Lilly, indulge her with an ice cream cone, not with something like not wearing a coat in cold weather. I live in NYC with my 2yr old & I assure you, she gives me hell every morning getting on that coat.. But, no coat, no go out.. They learn fast..

And is she doesn't want to wear a coat, maybe skip the short sleeve party dresses and invest in sweaters, sweatshirts, warm leggings, pants, tights, socks, etc.

I realize someone is going to come back with the argument that some little girls refuse to wear anything but dresses---but the two year old isn't the one going to the store to buy her own clothes! LOL. All those season-inappropriate frilly dresses are things Katie not only got her but obviously packed to bring with them to NYC.

And if Katie wants a tip, I just saw some lovely toddler all warm cotton sweater dresses in Target just the other day. Baby Gap has them too!

They don't look so good. And they never seem to smile, even when they're alone.

Does she EVER put a pair of socks on that child? And it was cold yesterday - where's a jacket or sweater? Katie is wearing a jacket, but her kid goes out dressed only in a lightweight summery cotton dress?

And I agree - she always looks depressed - compare her pix to those a few years back "B.T." (before tom) - Her whole demeanor has changed - slumped over, slack jawed, if there's a smile it's a small forced one. Even when she was first married, she seemed happier.

Ok, that outfit on Katie is a bit ridiculous.

It's frrreeezing in NYC at times. The kid should be wearing a hat, mittens and winter coat by now.

Poor Suri doesn't even know what pants are. Just little girly, dolly dresses for Suri.

It was 40 something and windy yesterday. Bitter cold. I don't get understand how Suri's not cold.

I think Tom forces Katie to take Suri to the park for a photo op. That's why they look so miserable and Suri has to wear dresses all the time.

Not only does Katie have on a sweater while Suri is in a summer dress, BOTH bodyguards are in fleece jackets and sweatshirts . . . I don't even feel bad for pathetic, slumped over Katie, she chose this for herself-but Suri (weird little alien that she is) is just a kid

No bluestar I agree that precious girl shouldn't have to freeze her butt off for any reason, but I'm betting that Katie's not the first mother to make that mistake and she sure won't be the last one either.

Suri is the cutest baby of all and should dress up as Snow White because she reminds me of Snow White.

Katie practically wears no make up but she looks pretty than most actresses scare the hell out of me.
