Angelina Jolie looks stunning thanks to her serene eyes on the December UK Harper's Bazaar cover. While Changeling opened at number four in last weekend's box office, it was number one in terms of per location sales. Even after so many interviews, Angelina still finds a way to surprise us talking about her life. Here are some highlights:

- On her children understanding violence: "Listen, my kids play video games. I let them play with toy soldiers. We don't take war and violence lightly, but we don't hide it from anybody. We say, 'Mommy and Daddy have movies where we play these characters, but there's real death and violence in the world.' There's a real responsibility there to create in their minds the difference between the two."
- On the women she portrays: "I tell stories that are about the type of woman I'd want to meet. The type of woman where I think, even if it's silly characters I've played, like in Tomb Raider, there's something about her that will be fun for my daughters to see one day."
- On her humanitarian work: "I do what I want to do because I love it. I got into the field years ago because I wanted to understand what was happening in the world and I love spending time with refugees. Selfishly, it's the most I've ever grown, the most I've ever learned, and some of the best times I've ever had speaking with other human beings."
- On her personality: "I don't walk around feeling I need to apologize or explain myself. [...] I am still, at heart – and always will be – just a punk kid with tattoos."
While Angelina has come a long way since her wild child ways, it's interesting to see what characteristics she has maintained in her adult life. One thing's for sure though — all those years ago, it would have been surprising to consider she'd ever be spending Halloween quietly trick or treating with her adorable family and partner Brad Pitt.

i don't know - i feel like the old angie is going to come out and we'll see that side of her again. she's changed into this entirely different person, and i'm not sure why that's the case. i think that the way that they raise their kids though to understand that there is violence out there in the world but to not shelter them from the games etc - it's a smart thing. i still don't like her - but i guess i can say nice things from time to time
1I've liked her characters--there's always been something very compelling about them for me, even the silly ones.
2Beautiful woman
3Absolutely stunning!! She's gorgeous.
4i agree jude..she looks cute
5Awwwwwwww Great interview. Lover her interviews. Angie is awesome. I am also soooo happy Changeling did sooo well.
6I love her, always have.
7She has the most stunning face in the world.

9She's cool.
10Angie is awesome!
11without having read any sort of biography about angelina, I can't help but respect her and secretly wish I was one of her love children. q:
12She looks gorgous on the cover.
13I don't really have feelings toward her one way or the other...she's kinda overplayed to me, but I don't dislike her.
I've loved every character she played...even her Original Sin character.
She's stunning, as always!!!
14zzzzzzzzzzzzz
15I love her but I do know (because I'm even older than her) that it's impossible to tame your wild side. I think she will go forward with her good works but I think it's only a matter of time before she cheats on or leaves Brad...it's just in her very wrestless nature.
16Almost every time she does a cover it's just a close up of her face...that must be a huge compliment.
17zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
18God she's gorgeous. I can't help but admire her. I think she has the right attitude about raising her kids from what she said. I still love her.
19Just splendid. And this -- "I don't walk around feeling I need to apologize or explain myself" -- I love.
20No wonder they call Angie the most beautiful woman in the world!
21I love the last comment, she's abosolutely right!!
I love how frank she is in interviews. Go ahead girlfriend!
22Having been a child not raised by my parents but a grandmother I have nothing but respect for Angelina as a mother. Being a lover of theater and drama I also admire her talent. On her personal life I have no opinions about Angie. She's inspirational when most female celebrities just appear to be self-absorbed b*tches. That's why I like Angelina.
23What a beautiful woman. I have to admit, her story encourages me to be myself.
24Mykie7, how did you get the yawning icon up? I didn't see it on the smiley board.
25I was raised by my grandmother too and well said, Mesayme.
26Black Velveteen it's : b o r e d :, without the spaces.
27Thank you Kim... grandma's kids a special breed of person lol
28I had friends who were in foster care and the orphanage, I knew I was the lucky one
Thanks, Jessiebanana !
29Angie makes the rest of the actresses look bad.
30She photographs marvelously. You cannot deny the woman is beautiful. I do wish she would gain some weight and get back in Lara Croft shape.
31I still don't care.
32Cute pic. Looks kinda diff than her tho. Somethins diff.
33If there is one person I would kill to meet in person is the woman. Not because of her Beauty but because of her honesty and her heart. She doesn't work too hard to please people and in life u can only be happy with yourself and your life when u stop worrying about what the next person is gonna say about u or think about u except for the people that matter to u which is your family. and thats it!!!so Angie keep living your life gal u owe nobody any explanation.
34I love her more and more she is really Beautiful!!
35Lucky Brad he gets to look at that beautiful face everyday.
36Another absolutely gorgeous photo
37
38adultery aside she seems like an awesome gal
39There is no denying she looks gorgeous in this picture it looks a tad bit airbrushed
40Stunning!
41I think the cover is stunning, she's beautiful and I love that Angelina is always candid in all her interviews and unapologetic about her persona! However, I wonder if this interview is a real one-on-one or just another interview pieced together out of older quotes. I think I read one of the questions/answers in some place else - so I'm wondering.
42That's true, Mesayme, and you're welcome! lol Thank God for Nana.
43It is so fantastic that she does not apologize for her personality, i think that's something that comes with growing older and having kids. I am getting that way too. I don't want to apologize if I don't believe in making sh*t load of money for a business. I am more interested in having a sound ethical business than the one that makes A LOT OF MONEY
44And by the way she looks much bette than before here, much much better
45She looks gorgeous on the cover! The article is kinda same old, same old stuff from her.
46Yeah, just a tad Pink. There is definitely something different about this picture. All I keep looking at is the shape of the tip of her nose.
The interview makes me laugh. It's as if she's trying to convince us that she EVER felt the need to apologize for herself and her choices. I think we all already knew that wasn't the case.
47angelina is fantastic being so...honest!!
48Simply gorgeous.
49Meh.
Gotta say though ~ as much as she doesn't do it for me, she has a flawless face. I saw it up-close over 3 yrs ago when her & Pitt were here in Alberta. She is a very engaging person to talk to, as she looks you right in the eyes & actually seems interested. Hmmm...she's probably trained to....
Anyhoo ~ yeah, a lot of things do not sit right or add up with her, but I can't deny her gorgeous face for sure. I remember watching Gia years ago and towards the very end where she is walking towards the camera with just a white sheeting covering her ~ she was stunning & took my breath away.
