Beyonce Knowles joined Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, and Diddy at a "Promote the Vote" rally for Barack Obama in Philadelphia yesterday. Jay-Z and Diddy have been campaigning for the last few days [1] in key toss-up states [2], and Diddy took the opportunity to open up about how important this election is to him. He said [3], "It's a new day right now and my son is in fourth grade, and when they ask him what he wants to be, now he can say he wants to be president of the United States. That's all because of Barack Obama." Beyonce later added [4], "Everyone is excited and it's time. I feel like we have grown so much as a nation and we will continue to grow because of Mr. Obama." No matter who you're casting your ballot for, all eyes will be on the news as the day unfolds [5].
