prop 8 sucks big time man!!!
1way to spread the hate
I'm angry about Prop 8. I'm sad that the world can't overcome their hate and not allow people who love each-other get married. I'm tired of straight and religious people use Gods name into it all. With divorce at an all time high if marriage is so sacred than why are people divorcing left and right? I'm one of the few who fight and protest. We have overcome color, sex, and religion in our nation now it's time to fight sexual orientation.
2So depressing. We take a GIANT step forward, and then take 2 GIANT steps back...why all the hate people? what are you so afraid of?
3What??? That's so not fair!!
4I'm incredibly saddened and disappointed by the passing of Prop. 8.
5I wonder what sort of discussion there was re: Brad's private parts?
6I am sad about Proposition 8. I am a straight Christian and I believe everyone should have the same rights. I agree with badkitty about taking a giant step forward and 2 steps back. Sad!
7Proposition 8 is abhorrent.
8this is AWFUL about prop 8. i don't know what message we're sending if we allow it and then it's overturned. i think that as a society we need to make more of an effort to be more accepting about people's right to choose.
i saw oprah and jesse jackson but not brad - i guess it's nice that he was there...since he was such a supporter of obama throughout the campaign.
that sucks about tim, and at least he had the day to argue with people about it. i don't know many people who would have put up with 5 hours of debate - they would have just voted via ballot and sent it in.
it's just a shame about simon and his relationship. i have to admit though, that family and marriage and kids can truly be a deal breaker.
i don't understand why there continue to be anthrax scares - it's just insane that this is something that we're STILL dealing with.
i'm upset about Greys and i hope that we find out what really happened. it's a shame since brooke's character was just starting to get more developed.
wow - another manager who's not doing the 'right' thing. i hope that this gets settled quietly - since personal stuff doesn't need to be drawn out into the public.
9that prop 8 thing is terrible. Apparently we are ready for a non-white male president but still denying basic human rights.
10California is so bi-polar.
11boo : (
common people, its about equality! you did the wrong thing.
12I wonder if there was a conversation between oprah and brad
13I'm sad that Proposition 8 passed, but I have a feeling that gay marriage will be legal sometime in the near future. I have hope.
P.S. I'm a Christian (Catholic to be exact) and I voted NO on prop 8, so I don't like it when people generalize that the reason why it didn't pass is because of Christians. Many Mormon churches also supported prop 8, and I know a few atheist/agnostic men who didn't want to legalize gay marriage because they don't like the idea of two men having sex (two women having sex if okay with them though
