Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise had more mother-daughter time in NYC yesterday, heading to Union Square for time in the park and farmers market. Suri looked happy to be enjoying the outdoors after their rainy Wednesday. She also got in some special time playing with her teddy bear, just part of her stuffed animal collection. Suri's toys seem to be make for great companions, though hopefully she'll get to make some friends her own age one of these days.

4Yea for Paddington. Not liking the bowl cut hair though. It's so severe that it overwhelms her features. There are more flattering styles they could choose.

9The friends thing is important because she's at an age where kids start to develop their social skills through playing and sharing with peers. If she's totally doted on by a team of adults, she's going to have emotional difficulty later in life learning to get along with others.
On the other hand, she will have so much money she won't have to have normal relationships with people and can just buy who and what she needs. That seems to be what her parents are aiming for at this time.

14Suri is absolutely adorable, but I think she's going to have a difficult time finding playmates as her Scientologist parents have a tendency to turn people off by their convictions. I just hope she turns into a well-adjusted child considering her situation.

I think she's a gorgeous little baby girl. Just beautiful. I do agree, missjinx, that she should be more bundled up, although she's been more covered with long sleeves and leggings as of late, which is better than what Katie was dressing her in before.
17Suri looks really cute here, at least she's wearing leggings, that's a step closer to being dressed warmly.
I guess she'll grow up thinking a blankie is a coat.

21its been 65-70 in nyc lately. and kids hate coats! haha. i think the blanket trick katie uses is pretty smart. comforting and warming. she's a good, hands on mom in my opinion. and suri and her seem like best friends. i hope i have that connection with my daughters when i'm a mom...

35What is sad is that Katy always looks very sad. Then, if it's true, they aren't allowed to talk "baby talk" in scientology and they are supp to treat them as little adults. That's just a mini monster in the making. She is incredibly adorable, but Katy just does not look happy. Think of the transformation from pics when shew was first dating TC to now. See the difference? She used to look alive and full of life.
