President-elect Barack Obama had a huge week, and while he certainly deserves the spotlight, Oprah Winfrey also shared a bit of his attention in the past few days. For starters, she was teary-eyed in Chicago while watching Obama's speech, and followed up with a special episode of her talk show dedicated to the future commander-in-chief. Today she even had the man who shared her joy and tears as a guest, though it was Will Smith who stole the show as he re-enacted his emotional reaction to the election announcement. It wasn't all about politics though. Oprah also chatted with Brad Pitt, had a hilarious guest spot on 30 Rock, and even used a porta-potty for possibly the first time in years. Talk about an exciting week!

Oprah using a port-a-potty like the rest of us? Mind boggling!
Hey, why not just make
her Secy of State and end the speculation? C'mon now. Enuf politics and genuflecting.
1Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.-- Oprah Winfrey
2Oprah is looking really crappy lately.
3That Will Smith segment was just ridiculous. I wanted to yank him up off the floor by his gigantic, overacting, pseudo-humble ears.
4Oprah = Blah
5All this celeb-Obama-Pastors race cards-Oprah-rappers race cards media hype are so played out,its getting annoying and it might backfire on them all plus Obama. If I hear "the One" and Obama Messiah" once more Im vomiting blood.
6It was by Oprah's own admission her first time 'experiencing' a port-a-potty. While I applaude Oprah for her work on Obama's behalf, it was way too much focus of her show this week. She should quickly ease up on the complete Obama focus and get back to doing her regular stuff. Leave the political discussions to the political shows.

8it's distracting how much she is involved in this and how she's kinda acting like she had such a big hand in his winning. the other there was an article on People's website that was about how she has her inagural gown ready...which really irked me. i'm with taylorbath that she needs to ease up.
9Wait until you've seen her hammer toes.
10well i guess it's nice that she had such a good relationship with obama over the length of the campaign so that she can be able to have a whole special with him and on him.
11Oprah. Never have been a fan of hers. She is so into herself that is makes me nauseous. Obama won. She wasn't on his campaign team nor is she his wife. I hate it when celebrities become all involved in politics, etc. Just stick to acting. It is okay to say who you like, etc, but I hate it when they act as if they are so important they have a say in the vote. What is sad is that Americans are so shallow sometimes that they probably do look at celebs and agree with them rather than formulate their own opinion.
12I agree Taylorbath! I knew when Oprah announced that she was "unleashed", we were in trouble. I thought she was done when she had Will Smith on to recreate his voting day. But when the gentleman that she leaned on during Obama's acceptance speech came out - I realized how desperate she was.
13Um, I could have done without seeing photos of Oprah using the porto potty. Thanks for the visuals...
14i love opera she proved that she's not just a very rich person but a very humble with a heart of a gold who understands the poor and middle family i thank her for her support, she's A great person.
15Lord I can't stand this woman. Orca should go away completely. I need to think of a different name for her, that's an insult to whales.
Oh, and for those wondering, I didn't start calling her Orca because of her size, it has nothing to do with that.
