Gavin Rossdale caught up with his family on vacation in Hawaii over the weekend. The hot dad missed Friday's slip-n-slide fun, but he made it in time for a shirtless Sunday with Kingston so no complaints here. He took a break to play some tunes on his guitar and he's been making the rounds promoting his new single. Last week he played at an awards show where he talked a little about how Zuma is very zen already and how the one American thing he can't live without is his wife. He also said, "What I've found from having children is that they just want to make you be better . . . Beforehand, without children, I think that I was probably more reckless and thinking a bit less about the consequences, and now I want to make sure I'm good for them when they check me out." Aw, sounds like Gavin is attractive in more ways than one.

1I love seeing how NORMAL people are with their kids. Instead of parading them in front of the paps all the time, or "staging" photo shoots, they're just being parents. How much more normal do you get than a family vacation?

Mykie, Yes Gavin has a 19 year old daughter named Daisy Lowe but he was just her godfather up until discovering that he was her father in 2004 (2 years after he married Gwen). Gavin and Pearl Lowe (Daisy's mom), a fashion designer and socialite in London, were friends for a long time but they had a one night stand that resulted in the conception of Daisy Lowe. Here's what I found on wikipedia:
"Lowe writes in her book, All That Glitters, that Daisy was the product of a one night stand between her and Rossdale following an argument she had with her ex-husband, Bronner Handwerger. Paternity was not questioned and Lowe listed "Bronner Lowe" on Daisy's birth certificate. Rossdale had initially offered to take a paternity test, but backed away. It wasn't until Daisy found out that neither Lowe nor Handwerger had the requisite O-type blood that she shared, that Lowe sought a paternity test through her lawyers. The paternity test revealed that Daisy's godfather, Rossdale, was in fact her biological father."
laur_454, Daisy apparently doesn't want anything to do with Gavin, so its not like he can see her even if he wants to...And I don't think Gwen wants Gavin to see Daisy either. Gwen was reportedly very hurt when she found out that Gavin had a daughter(which is understandable) and it's the one topic that is off-limits in her interviews.
