Christina Aguilera looked dramatic as usual out in LA last night at a launch party for fashion photographer Matthew Rolston's new book, BeautyLIGHT. That's not the only release she's celebrating — her new album "Keeps Gettin' Better" also hits shelves today. She recently opened up to Rolling Stone about the many challenges she faces as a solo female artist. She said,
“I’m running a business and sometimes being the boss of your own empire and creation, you have to be assertive. Being a female, that comes with being labeled a ‘b*tch’ and given titles that men wouldn’t receive. But if that’s what I’m going to be called by being assertive and knowing who I am and what I want out of life, so be it. I wear that label proudly.”
Christina isn't one to take the safe route, so it's no surprise she won't back down to any critics.

I had never bought a Christina cd before Back to Basics, but I was shocked at how much I liked it. There were so many good songs on there! I am going to buy the greatest hits cd so I can get some of the other stuff from cds I never bought.

34I have always been a fan of Christina's amazing voice, but lately she looks like a CROSS BETWEEN CYNDI LAUPER and one of those BLOW-UP DOLLs.
