James Wilkie Broderick was still showing off his Obama pride yesterday on his way to school with his mom Sarah Jessica Parker. Post-election, SJP is keeping the politics going working on her new HBO series, The Washingtonienne, as well as recording an audio tour for an upcoming exhibit at the Met. One project she's not starting quite yet is the sequel to Sex and the City that Kim Cattrall recently confirmed. Sarah Jessica said, "I’m thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done. With ‘the wind on our heels,’ we hope to make it a reality." That sounds like a work in progress, but hopefully it just means SJP is waiting for the right time to confirm it herself.

1well you knew that SJP would want to be the one to break the news since she's the head honcho when it comes to the show - especially knowing her relationship with KC - but i guess that it's all just something that we'll have to deal with . i can't wait to see her new show and i would LOVE it if they did another movie - we'll have to wait and see.
2I'm still not sure how I feel about SATC Part Deux. I just think movie wrapped everything up nicely. I mean, what can the girls do now? Big and Carrie break up... again? Or have a baby???? Because Big and Carrie do not seem like the baby people... Charlotte and Harry, yes. Big and Carrie, no.
All that being said, if the do a sequel, more than likely, I'll go see it.

4I know I couldn't stand a sequel. Too 'grown' for my tastes LOL... AND 'Big' I hate that guy. I don't want to see Carrie 'find herself' with a man so clearly lost.

7I really didn't like the movie but I would definately go see the sequel. It's like old friends getting together again! I need more Sex!
8His pants are almost always too short, it seems. I know she's talked about dressing him in a lot of hand-me-downs (nothing wrong with that)...maybe she's waiting for the next size up?

12SJP's statement sounded kinda rude, IMO. I understand that she is the producer and everything, but the movie made it seem more Carrie-centric than the show ever did and I would like to see more of an ensemble piece next time. I liked the first film but I think it could've been better and I have no idea what they could do with the rest of the story. I will still see it anyway!
