Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears were joined by more of the family including Maddie for lunch at Nyla's in Kentwood after their alligator farm visit. Jayden James already seems better after his hospital scare, and Kevin Federline released a statement through his attorney that "as of now" he "won't jump to conclusions" about negligence on Britney's part and that the family reacted well to his allergic reaction. As for her music, a mix of clips from Circus was leaked —check it out below — and the album is available for preorder now as she continues to prepare for her upcoming performances.

OH PLEASE! Negligence? SO EVERY parent whose child suffers from a food allergy for the first time will now be called NEGLIGENT? I can't believe this issue even came UP!
1omg, whatever.
2no normal person would be scrutinized so closely
oh, and the mix is awesome
3I think the tabloids brought it up just to stir the pot and Kevin had to respond just to make them shut up. I doubt he would do anything about it. It was pretty clear that she handled it as quickly as she could.
That mix is delicious! Can't wait!
4He won't jump to conclusions? That piece of Shi*. He should jump off a bridge in my opinion. Garbage, total waste. Where are your other children K-Fed, you know the ones who aren't keeping you in a life of luxury?
5He skeeves me out!
so insane that it would even have to be brought up!
6of course it was brought up- britney takes the kids away for the first time since they've been taken away from her and one ends up in the hospital the first day? of course that is going to be jumped all over! i'm not saying she did anything wrong at all, but of course it will be brought up, and of course k-fed would have to answer it
7I loved the mix!!
8that's crazy, any kid at any given time can have an allergic reaction to something they eat/drink. It is not in anyway that parents fault. She rushed him to the hospital that was very responsible not negligent. I think the paparazzi's are trying to work something into the media because with Britney and other celebs behaving they aren't getting the juicy pics to bring in the big bucks.
I love the mix and I cannot wait for her CD to come out.
9That didn't sound like much of a defense to me. He really bothers me with his acting like he's such a nice and responsible worried/concerned parent.
10I just hope he's okay. Those kids have been through enough already.
11especially when he was MIA from the hospital cfp. He was "supposed" to be flying there, and never showed.
I'm sorry, I don't care if one of my kids were halfway around the world. If they were hospitalized for ANYTHING, I'd be there. It wouldn't matter to me if someone said "Oh he's fine now" I'd be there. PERIOD. Good father my a**.
12I really loved the mix. Circus may actually be the first Britney album I own... I've been looking for new working music, this just might fit the bill
13They should get back together lmao
14If anyone was negligent it was K-Fed. He didn't even bother flying to Louisiana to see his child in the hospital. Even if he would've been out by the time K-Fed got there, he still should've gone. I'm sure that was a scary situation and he needed his dad.
I think K-Fed has gotten way too much love over the past couple years for his parenting skills. When it's really just a matter of Britney's incompetence that's made him look good. I'm so glad she seems to be doing better. I think she should move to Louisiana. And raise the kids out of the spotlight. Plus, she'll have her family down there to help her.
15How is he to blame she had sex with him had to kids with him, oh and his kids with shar are with shar shielded from the media, he actually addressed the issue with class he could have blown it up and questioned and taken the kids and I'm sure the judge would have given them back just to investigate
16pink, you're probably right, but that STILL doesn't explain why he wasn't THERE. You're a great Mom, you would have been there. I would have been there. Why wasn't he there?
17I think he is probably doesn't know what to think! I mean the ex went banana and now his kid went to hospital while he was with Brit. I would be suspicious too, until you have a child or a closed nephew in my case you wouldn't know the horror one goes through when they're in a hospital. Your heart skips a beat really.
18That's precisely my point blues, why wasn't he there?
19Jaime always looks like a hillbilly, no offence to hillbillies
20I totally agree with you Jaxmom give the girl a break. I think he is trash, it could happen to anyone and why don't we see him with his other kids? I don't think it has anything to do with Shar shielding them from the media, I think it has to do with the money. Anyway, Brit is nowhere around when he is parading the kids around. There are no perfect parents we just all try to do the best that we can.
21I love love love the mix! I can't wait until her CD is released.
22i think paps should leave her be, she is with her family. give her a breakkkkkkkk.
23i think that people are always going to blow things out of proportion. sometimes kids eat things that they shouldn't and you can't say that it was her fault...it's just not right. i'm very happy to hear that he's doing well now and i hope that k-fed sticks to his word
24to even insinuate negligence is ridiculous. give this woman a chance to put her life back together without scrutinizing her every move. it's so annoying
25I have to comment on how invading these pictures seem and i like the mix too.
26Negligence? Allergic reactions happen to most children anyway. The fact that Jayden was released after 1 day shows he's fine. Way to put the blame on Britney
27If anyone actually read the article on E which Pop links to above, about what KFed's attorney said, it's all explained and no big deal. Kevin is trying to let her have some space as a parent. He could have shown up with his lawyer and taken kids taken away.
As for flying to see JJ in the hospital, you can't get from Los Angeles to McComb Mississippi in a quick afternoon. It's several hours of travel with connecting flights and the incident was over before he could have gotten there. JJ was kept overnight for observation, and released the next day. As widely reported, Kevin was prepared to go if for any reason JJ wasn't released the next day.
28agreed with missyd, britney looks just frazzled at being photographed, yet again, with her family trying to go to a normal meal
29LOVING the new songs.
30Sorry, but if it was MY kid, I'd part water to get there. I don't care if they told me he was out of the woods or not. That's what a GOOD parent would do. Again, that's just my opinion, but to me, it speaks volumes.
31I like the mix of songs, but I'm not convinced that I should buy the complete album.
Mykie, I also think that I would've flown out to Louisiana too if my child was sick, but I don't think men necessarily work the same way. Of course, they would be concerned but if they hear the child is okay, then that would be enough. Women tend to be more nurturing and overprotective. I'm sure that Kevin would've gone, but if he had flown there immediately, it would probably look like he doesn't trust Britney's parenting skills.
32Considering that Kevin has full custody and the courts don't allow Britney any unsupervised time with her children, after months of investigation and reports with more info than any of us ever will or should know, I don't think anyone on Popsugar is in a position to determine that Kevin is anything less than a good parent. To say otherwise is merely projecting your own dislike, without any real basis.
And although Kevin has financial means to get there fast if he needed to, a last minute trip like that would cost most people a couple thousand dollars, so a lot of good parents would still not hop the first plane if it was already determined that the child was fine.
33California, we have to disagree on that. I was talking to husband about this last night, and I asked him the hypothetical question (He doesn't read these sites so had no idea what I was talking about.)
I said, "If I were across the country with the kids, and called you to say 'Our son is in the hospital, it looks like a food allergy, but they're going to keep him for observation' what would you do?"
His response was, "Sell the house and be on the next plane out."
Maybe I married the last good one, but to me a good parent is a good parent regardless of Gender.
34I love the album! Sounds like a good gym album!
