On Dec. 4, we'll get to watch Barbara Walters interview her picks for the Most Fascinating People of 2008 for her annual TV special. This year's list includes Will Smith, Michael Phelps, Tina Fey, Tom Cruise, Rush Limbaugh, Miley Cyrus, and Frank Langella, but of course the big question is who will get the coveted No. 1 spot. So tell us — who do you think will be the most fascinating person of 2008?

Im the most interesting person of 2008. Vote for me
1I'm sure it'll be Barack and/or that intripid wench called sarah Palin
2Oh and fascinating!! I should read this tosch properly before I comment
3If they don't pick Barack Obama as the most fascinating person in 2008, I will personally go down Barbara Walters' office and tell her a piece of my mind.
Even if you don't like him, he's fascinating. Plus, he's handsome. He's got it all, people...
4Barack hello history is all i have to say
5Sarah Palin should get the award for setting the causes of women backwards 50 years under the guise of feminism and family values. Woman is a dangerous witch.
6Its gotta be Barack, even though I didn't vote for him, I can't imagine anyone else in the top spot . . . unless Barbs has completely lost her marbles
7Barack Hussein Obama. MY new hero. Anything and everything is possible. Don't let your race, bad childhood and bad experiences eat you up!
8Barack Obama has to be top of the list. He's truly amazing!
9Oprah or Katie Couric? Seriously? What is 'fascinating' about them? I guess though, she does pick some pretty stupid people.
10I think Obama comes into politics at the right time, if he's tried a few years ago he would have lost. I adore the man.
11Obama Obama Obama. Can't get enough of him, and luckily, we'll have him around for at least 4 more years. =)
12I'm sorry but there is nothing interesting about Anglina, Oprah or Katie Couric. Let's try and move past the celebrity thing here...We elected an African American President, if Obama is not the clear winner, I have lost all hope in this country.
13completely agree with you badkitty
14I like Angelina but I definitely think the Most Fascinating Person this year is Barack Obama.
15I think it should be..............Spencer! lol!
16A Jolie? Please. Neer got her appeal + she loves media attention too much to my liking.
It's gotta be Barack Obama!
17Angelina- Homewrecker
Oprah - Big mouth who doesnt know when to shut up
Obama - Well you people will see
How about we pick someone who is truly fascinating!!!!
18I hope it's Barack Obama and not Sarah Palin!
19Is there even any choice other than Barack Obama??
20Not Angelina
21Obama!!!!
Angelina and Brad were already voted Most Fascinating 2005 or 2006. LOL.
22I think that Obama has got to be the choice. Who would have thought someone so untraditional could have taken on the big dog organizations like the Clintons and the Rove GOP, and won?
23obama has only gotta do better than bush and well my cat could do a better job. the 'you will see comment'is dumb.
24Obama without a doubt
and Palin shouldn't be on that list
25HELLO. Barack Obama. Duh.
26Sarah Palin, NO.
Angelina Jolie, BIG NO.
Oprah, PLEASE NO.
So I chose "other".
27Well, it's certainly not Angelina Jolie. Just because she's with Brad Pitt and adopts or births a kid every 5 seconds, and somehow finds time to do some goodwill and charity work does not make her fascinating.
28It's got to be Obama, young an that practically no one had heard of (when he first started running many didn't even know how to pronounce his name!) takes the country but storm, and wins the election! not to mention the first black president.
I think Sarah Palin is definatally second in line...
29*man
30I hope it's Sara Palin! Palin 2012
31Palin 2012
32Obama is for sure the most interesting.
33I love Obama but to me Andelina Jolie will always be the most fascinating. I LOVE ANGIE JOLIE!!!
34sorry I mispelt Angelina!!
35Obama or Agelina. I love them.
36Obama or Angelina. I love them.
37why it should be an american? DUH no thanx i'll stick to the rest of world!
38And Sarah Palin should be on the list of "What were they thinking?"
39lisa101 is definitely my choice
40The end is coming
41Why in God's name are dumb celebrities like Angelina and clint eastwood or Heidi Klum on this list???
*sigh*
DEFINITELY OBAMA!!!
HE IS AN UBELIEVABLE MAN I'M SO HAPPY AMERICA ELECTED HIM!
42Yep, LISA101 definitely.
43Obama hands down! He not only made history, but he's changed the political landscape in this country forever. He's changed the election process not to mention he really shook up the electoral map. Plus he's adored worldwide.
Palin? Um, please no. She's only fascinating because she wasn't properly vetted and therefore we got to hear all about her indiscretions and mistakes while she was campaigning. She's not the future of the Republican party, she's the end of it.
44Yes, I am a Democrat, and I say PALIN 2012!! Bring it on!
45and jillbill, if your "the end is coming" and 4-5 "Palin 2012" comments are connected, then I can only agree with you.
46Obama for sure.
47It would be fascinating to hear some of the truths about Obama instead of the liberal media's viewpoint on him. Who are his true associates? Where did all the donations come from? What is up with the civilian armed forces he wants to create? Truth about him would be great, but I don't see that coming from Barbara Walters. It will be a mushy gushy yay for you party.
Angelina=homewrecker, I agree
Oprah-why exactly would anyone be interested in her? Her obsession with Obama isn't really my cup of tea and if I were Michelle, I would be a tad annoyed.
I am going with Palin. She won't win, of course.
48Amen coachluvr33!!!
49lisa lisa lisa
you know you got my vote!
heh but def obama
