Not only is Akon a little late, he doesn't fully apologize, shifting blame to the security saying "It was never my intention to embarrass or take advantage of my fans ... we tried to make sure that the club did not admit anyone under 18 in the audience. Somehow, that standard was not met." So really, it's someone else's fault? Whatever.

okay about akon. first of all, she's 14 and should NOT have been let into the club. she's dressed in a very risque way and looks much older than she really is. how did her parents let her out?
and, she has a tattoo on her lower back, AND a belly ring. also, in a picture, she is clearly straddling him. i watched the video and yes it is quite disturbing for him to be doing that on stage. VERY inappropriate, i was quite shocked that someone would those intimate things (while fully clothed) so wildly on stage. but she got up on that stage. she seemed to be enjoying herself. i think she should speak up.

ahhhhhh Tammy.. I will defiantly keep her in my prayers. I just have a quick story, prayer really can work. My aunt was battleing breast cancer. And it just recently came back before Christmas. The night before she was going to start her treatment she was at church, and her entire church prayed for her, and she said she felt a healing power. When she went in for her treatment she asked the doctors to check one more time, and it was gone.

I forgot to watch the akon video. SO I still can't have an opinion on that.

Well, from the video I saw - I couldn't see her reaction. I saw a view that was looking down on them. It looked violent to me. I thought the girl looked like she was getting raped. (and I thought she was going to end up with a head injury) He was dragging her across the stage like a wild animal and slamming her into the ground.

Akon is disgusting..regardless of the age of the girl..ick! gwen should have someone else opening for her.. :T

I agree with pretty much everyone here.

-The 14 year old's parents should not have allowed their daughter to go to this concert, ESPECIALLY dressed like that.

-Akon should not have treated ANYONE (regardless of age/the way she was dressed/if she was liking it or not) like this. I'm not always super women's "libby," but this is all out disrespectful. There's dancing sexy and then there's sexual exploitation.

-I don't think this girl really wanted to be treated (and hurt) like this. I think she got on stage, felt intimidated with the fact that a celeb that she obviously likes (because she was at his concert) was showing her some attention. She probably didn't know how to stop it by the time he started violently grinding her. (hey, I could be wrong...but she's only 14 - I'm sure she was a bit overwhelmed with what was happening and his level of fame)

-The club owners/managers/bouncers should not have allowed her in the club.
