TRL had its final moments last night with a show bringing back the biggest stars who ever stopped by the Times Square studio. Beyonce kicked it off with a performance that included the classic "Crazy in Love" but sadly no Jay-Z cameo. Carson Daly returned for the show, as did Diddy, who made the most appearances of any celebrity. Justin stopped by to make fun of his frosted tips while Kid Rock smoked his cigar all throughout his performance. Of course, the streets were crowded with one last group of screaming fans that got to watch Fall Out Boy (without Pete Wentz) perform to help complete the show. Even Jesse Camp stopped by with Wanna Be a VJ runner up David Holmes. After a little more than ten years on the air, they counted down its most crucial videos of its history ending with Britney's ". . .Baby One More Time" at No. 1. It was a fitting way to finish off as we all say one more goodbye to TRL.

nice knwoing ya. thx for the childhood memoreis..lol
1exactly justingirl!
It was such an institution for me in middle school/high school.
Britney of course is/should have been number 1! She was the whole purpose of that show!
2Sad, it was the last thing that was gripping on for dear life from my childhood...hehehe. I remember coming home senior yr from High school and turning it on. Wow ten years have gone by .. Im getting old lol
3* knowing
i agree brian..britney i'll admit deserved to be number one on TRL
4aww Jesse Camp!!!!
5jaja i feel old
Personal anthem- haha
You are my fire
The one desire
Believe when I say
I want it that way
But we are two worlds apart
Can't reach to your heart
When you say
That I want it that way
Tell me why
6Ain't nothin' but a heartache
Tell me why
Ain't nothin' but a mistake
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
I want it that way

7B! did you have dance moves to go along with anthems like these? hmm or was i the only one that would make some up and dance along
why????? i started watching it from just a year ago and i am still 14
8was I the only person excited to see the Backstreet boys? I mean I was super hyped!
9I didn't really learn the dance moves to BSB cause they mostly just stood there and moved their hands in unison. lol. But I did learn Pop!, Bye Bye Bye and Slave
My friend actually had me do Slave at her wedding reception- people were like shocked I knew it. It was really funny!
10Bye TRL never watched you! it makes sense to get rid of a show based on the "videos" MTV supposedly runs, its like having a a Miss America contest with no contestants.
11god, i remember when new backstreet boys videos would debut in afternoons when i'd come home from school and i'd be 4 inches from the tv, crying! goddamn. i loved my boy bands!
12Carson looked really gaunt.
13I used to watch it all the time. Nowadays I only go back when Christina Aguilera is involved. Still, it brought up a lot of fond memories, and I thought it'd be on forever.
14Oh well. Adios!
Martini, the only reason I watched was to see BSB! Definitely brought me back to JHS/HS. Love them. I was hoping Kevin would come back to. He was my favorite
15Kevin was the Backstreet Boys as far as I knew
I haven't watched
MTV in years...maybe they'll go back to videos now. I didn't understand how fans were requesting videos they never got to see other than online anyway...
16Mesayme - You just spoke the truest words. I'm a die-hard Kevin Richardson fan
I love
the other guys, but once he left - the appeal of the group went with him.
17aww, trl. i, too, remember rushing home from high school to watch it with friends. it was the best to do homework to. good times, good times.
18Well i like the back street boys.....
19Aww RIP TRL..& is that Hilary Duff in the corner ? What is she wearing ?
20
TRL... thanks for the teenage memories. Ditching school and hopping on a bus to NYC to
stand in the crowds was classic...
21wow - it's really going to be the end of an era huh? interestingly enough, i never really got into TRL so i'm not overly sad that it's gone but i know that it was truly a staple for the network.
22yeah, what is hilary wearing?
23
Bye TRL, thanks for the memories.
